The Plumbers & The Hedgehog

Somewhere in the city of New York on planet Earth, there was a small building that had a sign that said 'Mario brothers plumbing', which is the name of the plumbing business owned by the Mario brothers themselves. Of course business was a bit slow lately, due to the city have a better plumbing company now a days, so the brothers have not got any calls for the last few weeks. Inside the building was a kitchen, and sitting at the table were two man with mustaches. The first one was shorter man with a red hat with the letter 'M' on it, which was Mario (voiced by Lou Albano), and the second was taller but younger man with a green hat that has the letter 'L' on it, which was in fact Luigi (voiced by Danny Wells), and they were the Mario brothers themselves. At the moment, they were eating some pasta, as they love Italian food. Mario: "So... any calls?" Luigi: "I'm afraid not... well... another day without a call..." Mario: "Oh cheer up Luigi, someone will give us a call sooner or later, and when that happens, we'll help them out." Luigi: "Yeah... you're right, I just hope that call is soon..." unaware to the plumbers, someone with glowing red eyes was watching them through some sort of crystal ball, and made an evil chuckle before snapping his fingers to make a spell that will change the lives of the plumbers forever. Back at the plumbing building, Mario was off to the toilet, to see if it needs some fixing so his skills don't get rusty, when he noticed that it was backed up, so he took out a plunger to unclog it. Suddenly, a portal appeared inside the toilet and started to pull Mario towards it. Mario: "Help!, Luigi!, help me!" called out Mario, before Luigi came and saw what was happening. Luigi: "Mama Mia!, you don't see that everyday!" Mario: "Hurry!" Luigi: "Oh right!" said Luigi, before he tries to pull Mario away from the portal, only he to get himself pulled into the portal with his brother and vanished without a trace. The Mario brothers were inside some sort of vortex that made spin around while heading fro the other side. It wasn't long before they saw the other end of the vortex and got themselves ended up in what looked like some forest. Mario: "Oh... Mama Mia... what just happened?" Luigi: "I don't know... but I don't think we're at home anymore..." said Luigi, while he and his brother took a look around. Mario: "Okay... we got swallowed up by our own toilet and now we're in a forest... must have been the pasta we ate..." Luigi: "You sure?" Mario: "Well of course, I mean the slightest disorder of the stomach can mess with your sight." Luigi: "Maybe... but it sure looks real to me..." suddenly, they heard an explosion not too far away, and they decided to investigate. When they pushed away some bushes, they were shocked by the sight of what they were seeing. It was a battle between a group of robots and what looked like a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog with red shoes. The hedgehog in question was Sonic (voiced by Jaleel White), and he was using what looked like a glowing gold ring to make him run faster than the speed of sound to smash the robots into a million pieces. Sonic: "Ha!, you can send as many robots you want Eggman, but they will never be a match for me, Sonic the Hedgehog." said the hedgehog, before what looked like a young anthropomorphic fox with two tails, named Miles Prowler, AKA Tails (voiced by young Bradley Pierce), came over to him. Tails: "Way to go Sonic!, you were awesome!" Sonic: "Yeah, I sure am, now let's get back Knothole." Tails: "Right." so with that, the two Mobians left the scene, unaware that the Mario brothers saw the battle, and they were shocked. Mario: "Did you see... what I just saw?" Luigi: "I think I did... but I wished I didn't..." Mario: "Okay... that must have been really bad pasta..." Luigi: "I don't think it's the pasta... and I don't think we're in New York anymore either..." said Luigi, while Mario gulped a little as he began to believe that his brother might be right. Suddenly, another group of robots appeared behind the brothers, aiming their weapons at them. Mario: "Run!" Luigi: "No need to tell me twice!" yelped Luigi, before he and Mario make a run for it, trying to get away from the robots that were firing blasters at them. Mario: "Why are they attacking us?!" Luigi: "Beats me, but I have a feeling they're not the good kind of robots!" Mario: "What give you that hint?!, the fact they're shooting at us?!" it wasn't long before the Mario brothers were now trapped between a large rock and the robots, who were aiming their weapons, ready to fire. But when all hope seemed lost, Sonic and Tails came to the scene and trashed the robots and saved the plumbers just in the nick of time. Sonic: "Hey, you two okay?" Mario: "Uh... yeah... I think so... thanks." Sonic: "No problem, I'm Sonic by the way." Tails: "And I'm Tails, Sonic's best buddy." Luigi: "Well it's nice to meet you both, I'm Luigi, and this is my brother, Mario, and together, we're the Mario brothers." Sonic: "Wait... your brother's first and last name is both Mario?" Luigi: "Yeah... I know it sounds silly, but it's true." Mario: "And proud of it... but uh... what exactly are you?" Sonic: "What do you mean?, you can tell I'm a hedgehog, right." Tails: "Or me being a fox?" Luigi: "Well... where we came from... hedgehogs were not blue... or can talk for that matter..." Mario: "And same would go for foxes... and they don't have... a second tail?" asked Mario, who just noticed that Tails had indeed had more than one tail on him. Tails: "Yeah... that's how I got my name, but I don't mind them anymore, they helped me on helping my friends on stopping Eggman." Mario: "Eggman?, what kind of name is that?" Sonic: "Just a nickname I gave to the jerk known as Robotnik." Tails: "He's the one who sent those robots that tried to attack us." Luigi: "So... I'm guessing this Robotnik guy is bad news?" Sonic: "You don't know the half of it, he's been ruling Mobius for nearly 10 years." Mario: "Mobius?, what's that?" Sonic: "How could you not know the name of the planet?" Luigi: "Planet... you mean... we're on a different planet?!" Tails: "You're not from around here... are you?" Mario: "Uh... you could say that..." said Mario, as he and Luigi looked at each other, wondering what sort of mess they got themselves into.
