Adam knew he had to do something. He couldn't just sit and watch her suffer anymore. He wanted to be there for her, to protect her, to guide her in helping others in need, and to help her achieve her hopes and dreams. With a resolute heart, he decided to take action.
In Heaven's grand courtroom, he called for an emergency Angel council meeting. The room was a magnificent expanse of marble and gold, filled with the soft glow of celestial light. The Seraphim, the eldest, Sera, and the youngest, Emily, along with other angels gathered, their wings shimmering with divine radiance.
Once all of the angels have sat down in their seats, Sera spoke. "We are gathered here today for this emergency meeting on behalf of Adam, the first man and soul to enter Heaven. Adam, would you care to explain yourself?" Sera asked.
Adam stood in the center, his presence commanding attention. "I have called this meeting because I can no longer watch over a human mortal named (Y/N) (L/N) from afar. She needs guidance, protection, and support that only a guardian angel can provide. I volunteer to be her guardian angel."
He snapped his fingers, and a huge crystal ball materialized in the center of the courtroom. It displayed a clear image of (Y/N), her face marked with resilience and gentleness despite the hardships she faced.
The angels murmured among themselves, skeptical yet curious. Sera, stepped forward, her eyes filled with concern. "Adam, we have then enough guardian angels and cherubs who are experienced with this kind of work, and you already have so many responsibilities in Heaven. I'm sure we can find this soul an angel that will fit her needs." Sera said, she was about to dismiss the case, but Adam stopped her.
Adam took a deep breath, his gaze steady and determined. "It's not that Sera, I want to do it. I've been watching (Y/N) since she was a little girl. From the moment I saw her feeding stray cats at the age of five, I knew she was special. Despite all the abuse and neglect she's endured, she remains the most selfless and compassionate person I've ever seen. She can't throw a punch, but she can always take one. Her strength lies in her gentleness, and the world desperately needs more souls like hers."
The other angels listened intently, their expressions shifting from skepticism to empathy. Adam continued; his voice filled with passion. "I know my duties here are important, and I'm well aware that there are plenty of other angels and cherubs that can perform this task, but (Y/N) is a beacon of light in a world full of darkness. She deserves a guardian who truly understands her and has witnessed her journey. I am that guardian. I believe in her, and I want to help her achieve her dreams and continue spreading kindness."
Sera remained skeptical, her wings twitching slightly. "Adam, you must understand the weight of this responsibility. Are you truly prepared to commit to this, knowing the challenges it entails?"
Adam nodded without hesitation. "I am prepared. I am willing to sacrifice and do whatever it takes to be there for her. She has shown incredible strength and resilience. She deserves someone who will always have her back."
The room filled with murmurs of agreement, and slowly, the skepticism began to fade. Sera then turned to Emily, asking for her opinion. "Well, should we?" Sera asked. Emily nodded her head so quickly that it might fall off. "Yes, this would so be great for Adam. I think that if this is soul is as half as good Adam claims her to be, it's worth it."
Sera then looked around, seeing the support Adam had garnered. With a sigh, she raised her hand. "Very well. All in favor of letting Adam be (Y/N) (L/N)'s guardian angel, raise your hand."
