Over the next few days, Adam and (Y/N) grew very close. Adam was not just her guardian angel; he became her confidant, her supporter, and her friend. He offered guidance and reassurance, and (Y/N) felt a renewed sense of hope and determination.
One sunny afternoon, as they were out for an outing, drinking sodas and eating snacks, they spotted a "Now Hiring" sign in the window of a modern-looking office building. The sign advertised an internship with great pay and flexible hours. Adam's eyes lit up, and he gently nudged (Y/N).
"This looks like a great opportunity, (Y/N)," Adam said, his voice filled with encouragement. "You should apply for it."
(Y/N) hesitated, biting her lip. "I don't know, Adam. What if I'm not good enough? What if they don't hire me?"
Adam placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You are more than good enough, (Y/N). You've got a lot to offer, and this could be the first step towards achieving your dreams. Let's go inside and check it out."
Taking a deep breath, (Y/N) nodded and walked into the building with Adam by her side. She approached the receptionist, who greeted her with a warm smile. "Hi, I saw the sign outside. I'm interested in applying for the internship."
The receptionist handed her an application form. "Great! Please fill this out, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible."
(Y/N) took the form and took a seat on one of the nearby seats in the lobby while Adam took a seat next to her, still invisible to everyone else but her. She put all of her information on it, her heart pounding with both excitement and anxiety. After submitting it, she and Adam left the building, the weight of anticipation settling in.
The next day, (Y/N) anxiously awaited by the phone in her bedroom. Adam stayed close, offering words of encouragement. "Stay positive, (Y/N). You did your best, and that's what matters. Trust that things will work out."
Just as (Y/N) was beginning to lose hope, the phone rang. She picked it up with trembling hands. "Hello?"
"Hi, is this (Y/N)?" a friendly voice asked.
"Yes, this is (Y/N)," she replied, her voice quivering.
"This is Jessica from the office you applied to. We'd like to schedule an interview with you for today at 3:00PM, if you're available."
(Y/N) felt a rush of relief and excitement as she looked at the clock on her nightstand. 11:02AM "Yes, I'm available. Thank you so much!"
After confirming the details, she hung up and turned to Adam, who was beaming with pride. "I got an interview, Adam!"
Adam smiled warmly. "I knew you would. Now, let's get you ready for today. You're going to do great."
Soon, 3:00PM came, (Y/N) dressed in her best clothes and styled her hair to look professional. She told her parents she was leaving for a few hours, receiving only a half-hearted acknowledgment from them.
As she walked to the interview, Adam stayed by her side, offering constant reassurance. "You're going to be fantastic, (Y/N). Just be yourself and let your passion shine through."
At the office, (Y/N) was greeted by Mr. Johnson, a kind-looking man with a warm smile. "Welcome, (Y/N). Please, have a seat."
