                                                                                              ASHER

I've not been able to take my eyes off of her since I saw her. She looks like someone I've met before. Her voice seems so comforting and familiar. And something about her brown eyes makes me wanna forget about the rest of the world and open the door to her thoughts. I asked her a few questions to start this date. She seemed so bashful when she first saw me and couldn't make eye contact for long which made her look oddly cute for some reason. I don't know why she seems so familiar. The way she talks and her body language. I don't know. And I can't shake the fact that I feel like I already know her. She said her favourite food is Burgers and fries. Which is my favourite too.

"So, what do you do for a living?" she asked.

"I play football. That's what I do for a living." I answered her question as I controlled my smile.

She looks so perfect in the movement. I've never seen anyone or anything as beautiful as her. And the comforting feeling that she gives takes me to a whole new level. I don't think I'm going to let go of her so easily.

"What about you?" I ask.

"I'm a singer. I do small shows and performances but nothing major" she says.

That's why her voice seems so comforting. She's a singer. I love her voice. I smile at her, and she smiles back.

"I would love to hear you sing," I said softly.

"Let me show you a video then" She takes her phone out of her pink purse scrolls through it clicks on a video and hands her phone to me. She's on a stage sitting with a guitar in her hands and a mic in front of her. She's singing "I like you so much, you'll know it" by AVIWKILA. She looks so pretty in the video, and her voice is even more beautiful while singing. I watch the video like I'm watching her perform live. And for a second, I completely forgot that she was sitting right in front of me.

"Your voice is indeed a beautiful one" I said while she smiled, and her cheeks turned pink matching her jacket.

Our food arrived and we kept chatting. She asked me where I was born and where I studied. I ask her, about her favourite colour, and her dreams. We both had a good conversation. I cracked a few jokes and she laughed which made my heart melt.

I've never felt this feeling. This feeling gives me a weird sensation in my stomach. I've never stared at someone so much. I've never seen a smile as beautiful as hers... I want to tell her how pretty she is. I want to tell her that she is really lucky to be sculpted so perfectly by God. I want to tell her right now. But I can't. I can't creep her out. But I hope that... someday... just someday... I'll be able to tell her... all of this.

Asher...

Asher Townsend?

"Ohh, I'm so sorry... I zoned out" I said as I tried to hide the embarrassment. I completely forgot that she was still with me. I was sitting right in front of me.

"Don't be embarrassed. It's fine. I understand" she says as she reads my face.

The waiter takes away our plates and brings us the bill.

"I'll pay," I said while examining the bill.

"No... Let's split it. How much is the total?" she asks as she goes through her purse.

"15 dollars..." I say as I try to grab my share of the bill from my purse.

We both give the money to the waiter while she tips the waiter 5 dollars... That's sweet. We walk out of the restaurant together... I try my best to not hold her hand because our hands are so close to touching. "How are you going to go home?" I ask her, hoping that she hasn't planned yet so that I can give her a ride home.

"I have to call Zane to pick me up," she says.

"Don't bother. I can give you a ride" I say, and she hesitates to speak.

I gather up the courage grab her hand and lead her to my car. I open the door to the passenger seat and wait till she sits down before closing it. Then I rush to the driver's seat and sit down. I look at her to see if I made her uncomfortable, but she looks back and smiles at me. I asked her address and she told me that she lived just a few blocks away which was perfect because she lived just a block before me. I pulled up in front of a maroon-painted house which was big enough to fit at least five people. As soon as I stop, she doesn't get out of the car. She looks at me and shoots me a smile that melts my heart. ONCE AGAIN. I smile back at her as her cheeks colour red.

"It was a great night..." I said.

"I loved it too. I hope we can do this sometime again" she said.

"How about we stay in contact with each other?" I ask her and I gently grab my phone.

"Sure," she says as I hand her my phone so that she can type in her number.

"Thanks for the ride," she says as she gets out of the car. She waves at me while I pull away and leave. And as soon as I pull into the driveway of my house. I grab my phone and save her name as 'Princess Aurora'. You know the one from the Disney movie? Yep. This Aurora that I met is even more prettier than the actual Disney princess. Princess Aurora...
