Black romance runs my world. Black love is powerful. I am a hopeful romantic because love is not a mystery or a fairy tale. Love is a real feeling, an emotion, it is art. Love needs to have some respeck put on its name! My hope for you is as you read this book you find yourself thinking about your world. What do you want? What do you need? How do you love? What parts of you show up in my characters?
I hear music in stories. Each chapter is inspired by a specific song which I will include in each chapter. Listen to the words. Feel the beat. Speaking of chapters, it's important that I mention that while Dallas, Texas (this story's initial location) and other place mentioned are real, restaurants, streets, and names of buildings are not. Let me use my imagination, this is my world and you're reading in it. Trust me, you will love it here.
Let this book distract you from the dishes in the sink. Tune out those bad kids. Lay deeper into your pillows after a long Fay on your feet. Grab your sparkling water (or something with a little umph in it), take your time, and make love win.
Cheers,
HopefulRomantixxx
