She looked around noticing a very nice house. Almost normal.
"Where am I?"
"Your new home." He replied bluntly.
"Hopefully your first couple of days here has taught you what being a bad girl gets you". Aleigha, still disoriented, looked around.
"Wha-what? Scott, I..."
"You know, I remember Mitchell showing your picture to me and I thought to myself...How in the hell does he deserve her? I work my ass off every single day, risking my life to keep this state safe. How does he get the girls"?
Aleigha just sobbed while he continued.
"I remember meeting you in person. You remember that hug you gave me? That sweet perfume in your hair. The little moan you let off in my ear when I squeezed you?" He chuckled. "Listen I get it. Mitchell Whintore the forensic biologist, mommy and daddy are doctors..."
"What about me?" He leaned down wiping her swollen eye with a warm cloth. "What about my plaques, and medals? Shit, I went to college and got degree just like his ass. I made detective in two years!"
"Scott please... Mitchell is going to."
"FUCK MITCHELL!" Scott snapped.
"Baby, Mitchell is out of the picture now. He's not looking for you. He can't look for anybody!"
"What did you do?" Aleigha held her shoulder together.
"My partner stomped his chest in...That'll be one heart his daddy can't fix up." He laughed.
"No that's not true. Please no, don't say that." She gently beat on his leg emotionally worn down and physically ill.
He pulled out a photo on his phone of a battered and bloodied man on a floor making Aleigha scream, "No!"
Scott kissed the top of her head then began to undress her. "No please, I don't want to".
"I'd never force you to do anything you don't want to do. I'm not an animal Aleigha, I just want to get you cleaned up. If you're good, I can get that shoulder fixed and you can sleep on a bed. Will you be a good girl?"
"Yes, I'll be a good girl! Please!"
-Minutes Later-
When I need to be rescued
And I need a place to swim.
I have a rock to cling to in the storm.
When no one can hear me calling.
Sade's Lovers Rock played in the background. Aleigha covered her breasts, crying as Scott bathed her and sang to her.
"You love Sade. Prince too. I remember the night you wore that beautiful blue gown. You reminded me of a goddess. I remember the way you just sang and danced to Prince. You remember that?"
