The wedding was gorgeous. I had the pleasure of helping Michel'le slip into her tailored Galia Lahav gown. It stopped just above the ankles and her shoes were these beautiful Swarovski encrusted pumps. She wore it just as the model in her wedding book.
After helping her get dressed, she was off to take wedding pictures with the rest of her family at a photography studio in the next town. I put on my playlist and began getting dressed in the room. The vendors putting together tables and chairs reminded me of my home in downtown - I hated how it broke the quiet.
-1 Hour Later-
I grabbed my black cocktail dress that was detailed to mimic flower petals. I sprayed my Mugler Alien after I ran Swiss Arabian oil across my skin that was mixed with sunscreen oil.
Thank God my Manolo Blahnik heels were comfortable. I threw my portable fan, lip-gloss, and camera into my purse and waited for Mitchell's text.
-3:30 PM-
Before I knew, I had fallen asleep and Mitchell was standing over me. I took a couple of minutes to gather myself and took his arm. He sat me on the row next to Mariam and the wedding began shortly after. Michel'le decided that with so many friends, she couldn't choose between one or the other, so her and her husband would stand alone with the pastor.
-4:30 PM-
"I'm so glad that's over" Mariam rolled her eyes.
"How could you say that?" Aleigha whispered.
"Girl I am hungry! She's had be smiling and posing all day... I'm glad it was her and Terry decided not to do wedding parties. I would've been up there in my Allstars".
"Okay that actually sounds cute!" Aleigha didn't think that sounded like a bad idea.
They got drinks from the bar and socialized with the guests. Mariam eventually broke away to dance and Bibi (Mrs. Whintore) introduced Aleigha to different family members and friends.
