"Okay, Nat focus now. Know you'll do great. You know the circuit, you've done great in the practices." I listened to Maya, my race engineers calm voice trough the radio. I nodded to myself as I drove out of the garage to start the first session of qualifying.

I smashed Q1, putting myself at third fastest just like I did in the second practice. And then later on in Q2 as well.

Now I was on my out lap in Q3. The car felt good still, and I drove around the circuit soon starting the lap. "Okay, push now Nat."

"And that is P5 for the Mercedes rookie, what a brilliant day for the Spaniard!" I celebrated as I drove back to the grid to park my car next to the rest.

I had a smile on my face as I jumped out of the car and was met by my brother. "You freak, how did you outperform me?" I laughed at him and met him in a hug. "You're unbelievable," he then continued.

"Thank you, brother. It's actually crazy." I laughed and walked over to get weighed. I felt a push from behind, lounging me forward. When I turned around I was met by Lando's angry face.

"What the hell was that!?" I had confusion written all over my face as I tried to figure out what he meant.

"What are you talking about?"

"You completely ruined my lap! I would've been in pole if it weren't for you and now I'm starting seventh." I raised my eyebrows to his false accusations.

"I wasn't near you on your push lap, I made sure of it. And obviously the FIA agrees with me as they haven't given me a penalty." I kept my voice calm despite the fact that he was full on yelling at me. Though I just couldn't believe he'd blame me for his bad lap. It wouldn't have surprised me if he was just annoyed he was starting behind a girl.

"You're lucky you're Carlos's sister," he started.

"Or what?" I tried and work him up a bit, teasing him a bit.

"You don't even wanna know, I'll tell you that!" He was about to walk away.

"Keep it together, Norris." He looked at me with annoyed and confused eyes. "You're embarrassing yourself." Then I walked off, leaving him too stunned to speak.

"Natalia Sainz, what an incredible day for you!" I gave the man behind the camera a smile and nodded as well.

"Yeah it truly has been," I replied.

"We're all amazed by your performance, how are you feeling?"

"I'm over the moon right now. Qualifying fifth in my first race weekend is just greater than I ever expected."

"I have to ask you, this little encounter you had with Lando Norris was off throwing. Would you care to tell us what happened?" I rolled my eyes a little, almost unnoticeable.

"Just a difference of opinion that's all." I tried to keep it as professional as I could despite the fact that I was still fuming with him.

"We know he has a close relationship with your brother, we would hate to see you and Lando not get along." I nodded. Of course it was all about Carlos. Don't get me wrong. I loved my brother more than anyone else, but growing up as the second most loved child in the family was definitely difficult.

"Yes, my brother and him are definitely close. I couldn't destroy that bond even if I tried to." I tried to joke and gladly got the man with me in my laughter.

"So you and Lando are fine? Lets get him here actually, Lando!" I turned my head slightly to see Lando on his way over here. He had a dark look in his eyes until he looked up at the camera man, then his eyes were glowing like the sun again. As long as he wasn't looking at me, right?
