Jupiter takes wendell out on a date to the next town over, he accidentally interrupts his parents' plans for their date night. Jupiter starts to stand up for himself and that he shouldn't be expected to throw out plans made in advance just because they couldn't be bothered to get a babysitter. Jupiter mutes his phone and he and wendell have a good time without being interrupted. Jupiter goes home with wendell and just doesnt go home that night, he goes home the day after. Jupiter's relationship with his parents are more strained after that, they try and restrict his life a bit more than before but fail when jupiter just does things anyways.
