The next couple of weeks were a blur, with going to visit Nat, my mom, and all the others. Tears and shock and happiness all followed, and I made promises to everyone that I would never leave them again.

"That's what they all say Phoenix," Hangman said cockily as I watched him play pool at the Hard Deck.

"Well, her name ain't Phoenix for nothing Hangman." Payback said with a smile.

"Whatever happened to Ricochet, huh?" Coyote asked as he took a sip from his beer.

"Well, I think that in a sense both callsigns are the same. So she's still here." I said jokingly as everyone laughed.

"And we're very glad that she's still here, whether that be Ricochet or Phoenix," Rooster said as he threw an arm around me. I rolled my eyes and smiled as I took a sip from my beer.

"Woah, woah, woah. Phoenix. You mind showing us that hand again?" Fanboy said as a huge smile crept up onto my face. I glanced at Rooster, then held up my hand revealing the beautiful red and orange colored stone that sat on my ring finger.

"So when were you gonna tell us that you two are engaged?" Bob asked teasingly.

"Oh shut up you guys," I said with a laugh. "Don't pretend like you weren't there. Oh and don't worry, you're all still invited to the wedding. Well, everyone but Hangman." I said teased back.

"I think Rooster here would disagree, Phoenix, since I did save his ass in the end," Hangman said as he sported his usual cocky grin. Rooster rolled his eyes but smiled, and I laughed out loud. I couldn't help but remember the night that Rooster had proposed.

"Do you wanna go out to Black's Beach?" Rooster asked.

"What do you think Bradshaw?" I said with a laugh as I hopped in his Bronco. I breathed the fresh air as he drove out to the beach, and raced him out to our usual spot.

"Gosh, I missed this so much," I said as I smiled at the setting sun. "What?" I asked as he didn't say anything but just stared at me lovingly.

"Well, since you asked, it's your funeral Phoenix," Rooster said with a laugh as he got down on one knee. Wait. Hold on. Is this what I think it is? I thought as my nerves and excitement kicked in.

"Anna-" Rooster began to say when I cut him off.

"Hell yes!" I said with a smile on my face. He jumped up and immediately kissed me, then pulled away and laughed.

"So I practiced what I was going to say for basically nothing?" He said teasingly.

"Well, that depends. Are ya gonna put a ring on it or nah?" I said with a laugh as I held up my hand and wiggled my fingers. Rooster slid the beautiful ring on, and I heard cheering erupt from the beach. I looked out to see the familiar faces of my friends and family and laughed as Rooster pulled me in for another kiss.

"I propose we do a toast," Nat said with a grin. She held up her glass and got the attention of everyone in the bar.

"Attention everyone! I would like to give a toast to the future Mr. and Mrs. Bradshaw!" She said loudly as she raised her glass. Everyone in the bar cheered as they raised their glasses, and the cheering grew louder as Rooster and I kissed. I could get used to this. I winked at my uncle and Penny from across the bar and smiled at Rooster.

"I love you Anna," Rooster said.

"I love you more Bradshaw."
