"Yes momma, I'm walking into my house now. I'm about to get in the shower, I'm so tired." Lani spoke to her mother, unlocking the door and walking in.

"No, I had a photoshoot today. It was funny—Ty and Tiny kept going back and forth." Lani smiled through the phone, setting her keys on the island. She walked into her room, setting her phone down and putting it on speaker.

"I miss my second daughter. How she doing?" Kim, Lani's mother, spoke through the phone.

"She's good, mama. Still gay as usual." Lani let out, stripping from her clothing.

"Lord save her." Kim spoke, shaking her head through the phone.

Lani's parents were Christian. Her parents loved Tiny, but they believed her being gay was still just a phase.

"Momma, leave her alone. Imma call you later, I have to get in the shower. I love you." Lani replied, going into her bathroom and turning the water on.

"Bye, my pretty daughter. I love you more." Kim replied, hanging up.

Lani squirted the soap in the tub, dipping her hand in and mixing the soap in with the water.

Grabbing three candles from under the sink, lighting them, she sat one at the top of the tub, one at the bottom, and one directly in the middle. It was dark outside—being that it was 11 at night—so the candles added spice.

Lani slowly stepped in the tub, laying back. She let out a relaxing sigh.

Lani finished washing all the soap off when she heard quiet clicking.

She knew the sound of her front door buttons.

Grabbing her robe, quickly shutting the bathroom door, and continuing to listen, she heard noises downstairs—something like a box or bag being dropped down.

Lani looked around her bathroom for her phone, remembering she left it on the dresser.

"Fuck." She whispered, throwing her hands above her head.

"Why I gotta die, man? I just got here." She murmured lowly, whining.

"Fuck it." She rushed out.

She slowly opened the bathroom door, quickly walking over to her phone.

Hearing more noises—what seemed like a pen being clicked and something being written on—the item dropped, and then her front door opened and shut.

She walked over to her room door, putting her ear to it.

It sounded like whoever came in immediately left back out.

"This some white people shit." She huffed, walking down the stairs, down the hallway, past her living room, and into the kitchen. There was a box and another note.

She grabbed the note, reading what it said once more:

—You looked good today, mami, and that car definitely suits you. I got you something I know you wanted. –K

Lani put the note down, sliding the box towards her. She opened it, revealing a bag that read BIRKIN.

A shocked expression quickly came onto her face. Opening the bag, she pulled out the two-colored pink-and-cream Birkin bag.

A smile stretched onto her face. Although in that moment she should've been scared, Lani was honestly happy.

Opening her phone, she clicked on Tiny's contact and pressed the call button.

"Hello."

"Bitchhhh, guess what the fuck I just got." Lani dragged.

"Go 'head, spill." Tiny sounded like she was smiling on the other side of the phone.

"Another note from the random. They bought me another damn Birkin bag!" Lani screamed.

"They left a number on there or something? I need me one too." Tiny spoke seriously.

"Girl, bye." Lani laughed, causing Tiny to laugh too.

"Like whattt, it's the cutest. I don't know who spending they money on me, but I ain't even mad." Lani smiled, shrugging her shoulders.

"You need to figure out who doing all this, 'cause they just spent a whole 100k on you in two days, mama." Tiny pointed her finger, smiling.

"They keep leaving notes, though. I think he or she name might start with K or something like that." Lani assured.

"Well, that's something, right?" Tiny raised a brow.

"Yea, I guess so. We still going to that new club opening tonight?" Lani asked, walking away to her room.

"Duh, bitch, we ain't been nowhere for real." Tiny rolled her eyes, following behind her.

"I think I know what I want to wear." Lani put her finger on her chin.

"I'm the hottest in the streets, know you probably heard of me, got a bag and fixed my teeth." Lani rapped, walking into her closet.

"Hope you hoes know it ain't cheap." Tiny finished the sentence off.

"I didn't ask for you to finish the sentence, ho." Lani looked back.

"Okay, but I did. And what?" Tiny smiled, tilting her head.

"See, and that's why we was fighting bitches all through high school—'cause you wanna play." Lani pointed before turning back around.

"Neverrrr, I don't play games." Tiny smiled innocently.

"I want a shot of Hen." Lani pouted, searching through her closet.

"If you would hurry up and find an outfit, we'll get to the club quicker." Tiny sassed.

"See, I'm 'bout to beat your ass already." Lani huffed.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry, Pooh—but for real, hurry, 'cause Ty and them already there." Tiny assured, leaving out the room.

"I gotta pee." Lani spoke to herself.

Walking into the bathroom, Lani quickly relieved herself.

She searched her closet once more, finding what she wanted to wear. She got ready and headed downstairs to Tiny, who was already ready, sitting on the couch.

"Ouuu, period." Tiny snapped, making Lani do a spin.

"Bitch, I'm too gay for this." Tiny pouted—her pout turning to a smile as Lani leaned in to hug her.

"It's okay, I love your gayness." Lani replied, smacking her ass.

"See, no bitch, too gay, too gay." Tiny pointed, grabbing her purse and walking out Lani's door, Lani following behind her.

"I don't say shit when you do it to me, girl, hush the fuck." Lani popped her neck.

"'Cause I'm the actual gay one." Tiny sassed back, getting into the car.
