Forever

After the Cullens and the pack left, Edward and I were walking when he suddenly put a blind fold on me

"What are you doing?" I ask laughing

"It's a surprise" Edward says softly

"My lady" Edward says as picking me up

I laugh gently with a smile. I lean into Edward as he runs before sitting me down gently

I feel him come behind me and slowly take off my blindfold. I open my eyes to see a bunch of lights around us. And I notice we are in a small shelter in the woods

"It's beautiful" I say smiling before I turn around and gasp

Edward is before me, down on one knee holding out a ring

"Athena" Edward says quietly

"Edward" I gasp softly

"I have loved you since the moment I saw you, I loved the way you spoke and walked, I loved when you defended my family without knowing us" Edward says and I smile brightly

"You made my heart beat again, you brought love and joy to me. You are like my heart, bringing joy and love to me. I thought I was a monster but you changed that. You have changed me. I cannot live without you by my side. Without you I am nothing but darkness forever existing but not living, you are my starts. My universe, your my purpose" Edward says as tears run down my face

"Athena Swan, will you do me the honor of marrying me?" Edward asks

"Yes" I say moving to hug him, wrapping my arms around him.

Edward smiles and slips the ring into my finger before picking me up and spinning me

I look up at him with a smile and love.

"I will spend the rest of my life with you, forever until the earth is nothing but dust, and the only thing left is us and are memories" I say softly

"I would live alone forever as long as I have you" Edward says kissing me

This is perfect, this felt right. Just Edward and I forever.
