A young girl frantically rushes out into the snow, using a lantern to light up the way.
"Smokey! Smokey!" She shouts nonstop, hugging her scarf close to her chin. "Where are you?!"
The wind whips around her pure white hair as the cold makes her freckled cheeks a light pink.
"Come on, girl!" A desperate call for her pet is loud over the dreadful weather. "Smokey! I'll give you all the treats in the world!"
She steps out from the woods, stretching her arm out further to light up the area. Heaving out a tired breath, she gets ready to yell her pets name again.
"SMO- Ah!" The girl trips over something, landing into the pillow of snow. At least she salvaged the lantern.
"What the...?" Standing up, she brushes the snow off of her clothes before shining the light over what seems to be a shoe with red tipped flesh toes peeking out.
Her heart begins beating fast. She gulps, bending over to dig the layer of white from...
A body.
She shrieks, falling onto her bottom. A million thoughts run through her mind as the startled look continues growing on her face.
The girl sucks in a breath, placing the lantern on top of the snow. She hypes herself up before finding the arms belonging to the body. With all of her strength, she pulls up the corpse, then slips backwards, falling on her back. "Ugh," she groans, wiping her wet bangs out of the way.
As she sits up, she grabs the lantern and directs its light towards the lifeless body before her. The frantic girl identifies it as a male with short indigo hair. The man's clothing, adorned in varying shades of blue and white, appears to be from Inazuma. Red and purple are smeared all over his face, clothes, and legs. Looks like a brutal accident has occurred here.
She takes hold of his wrists, but struggles to free one of them trapped beneath the snowy surface. Determined, she continues to dig deeper, not expecting to uncover a second body. The girl keeps her cool, trying not to freak out.
Her heart drops as she uncovers more about these two unidentified people. The hand of the male victim is firmly grasping onto the hand of the other person. Fighting back tears, she can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of sadness.
The second body is in black dress pants, which are covered in streaks of blood. As for their shirt, red soaks most the white long sleeve.
What should I do? The girl weighs her options. Leave them here or take them back home and bury them?
She's already out here doing something important. Her pet ran outside and is no where to be seen...Smokey is very dear to her. Oh, but the snowstorm. Just being outside is risking her own life.
The girl averts her gaze, clutching her coat firmly. A deep sigh escapes her lips before she circles back around and stares at the bodies.

Lambad's Tavern is as lively as usual. People from all over Sumeru are gathered to dine, converse, or engage in card games.
The dim lights make the place feel comfortable. A wide smile adorns your face while you sit at a round table.
You look around at the people occupying the chairs at your table. Tighnari and Cyno are talking, looks your friend has heard another one of Cyno's silly jokes.
Alhaitham is silent, ear being talked off by Kaveh. Collei is sitting next to you, happily eating the dish in front of her.
Aesha and Bashir are there, too, sitting next to each other across from you. The woman catches your gaze and smiles sweetly.
