Aesha sighs loudly, leaning agaisnt the back of her stand while tapping the wooden counter. Yurushi sits on the stool next to the table, impatiently waiting for any instructions.
You left early in the morning to go to Sumeru City to hang up posters that might attract more customers to your boss's stand. With you gone, Aesha finds it quite boring. No, she doesn't believe there is anything wrong with Yurushi, it's just he's not a big talker, and only answers Aesha with either one word or a short sentence. Or sometimes even a snappy remark.
"Hmm, since I've had so much time to think," Aesha grins cheekily, watching Yurushi raise an eyebrow at her. "I've thought about how this stand needs an upgrade. Linlang gave me seventy thousand mora, so I feel like in order to put it towards my business, I need to do something with my stand."
"Why not save up the mora?" Yurushi asks, crossing his arms over his chest. "Then you could purchase a place to set up a shop."
"Yeah, but then how would I get the mora if nobody is around?!" Aesha hollers the last bit while looking around the area. It's empty, partially because it's pretty early in the morning for people to be out other than to attend their jobs.
"Be patient," Yurushi mutters. "So annoying."
Aesha heard that insult being murmured under his breath, but she pretends not to. "Anywho, I thought it'd be neat if we added lights and decorations. I'm also planning on adding a large piece of wood attacted to the top of the stand with my logo on it."
Yurushi nearly laughs. "Yeah, 'cause your face won't scare anybody away?"
Aesha rolls her eyes and frowns, glaring at the man as if she wasn't offended by his remark.
"I was kidding." He adds.
The woman just huffs. "If (Y/n) were here they'd tell you off!"
"Hm? I see, so you do have a favorite employee."
"I don't!?" Aesha exclaims. "I love all of my employees equally. I just miss (Y/n)'s company.
Yurushi sighs heavily. "(Y/n) this, (Y/n) that. You literally saw them last night."
"So?" Aesha grumbles, then smirks. "I wonder, do you miss (Y/n)?"
Yurushi cackles. "Nope." Me? Miss (Y/n)? Hah, even after working with them for years, I haven't missed them a bit.
"What? I thought you two would have formed a bond by now." Aesha frowns.
"Aesha," Yurushi deadpans. "(Y/n) and I have been co-workers for literally two days." I find it quite amusing to lie right to this womans face.
The woman just shrugs. "Well, I formed bonds in less time than that when I was working somewhere else."
"That's because you're Aesha." He says.
"And what's that supposed to mean?!" She shouts.
"You want me to spell it out for you?" Yurushi sneers. "A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G. And L-O-U-D."
"Hey!" Aesha exclaims, placing her hands on her hips. "You can't speak to your boss like that, you know! You listen to me. I won't tolerate that kind of act!"
Yurushi's eye twitches. He hates that tone of voice, that attitude. "Nobody gets to boss me around."
"Why, you!" Aesha takes a moment to calm down, breathing in and out before smiling calmly. "Okay, well, I do because I am your boss in this job. You're working for my business. If you really don't want to be here, then quit. Fine. But I need your help. So does (Y/n). They constantly run around, are always so helpful, and it'd be such a relief if they had your help, too."
