Chapter Twenty-Seven:

"And what do you want me to expect?! Ha!" I madly said almost shouting. "Stay silent and just go with the flow? Isn't it crap?!"

"Alright, alright." He calmly answered. "I'm sorry, okay. But the thing is--"

"You can't tell me! Damn it, Haimon! We were married for one year and yes, we got a whirlwind romance but still isn't it enough to trust me? To tell me everything about you! Anything! Even your secrets! Even the darkest ones!" I seriously stated and he was caught for a moment before his eyes turned to normal. The same eyes that he always did whenever he wanted to hide something so important and if it was before I'll calmly accept it but not now! I'm mad and I hate those eyes that I couldn't take it anymore. "Oh! Stop it!" I shouted. "If you couldn't give me what I want then I'll ask someone else who can answer it all! Without any hesitation! Without hiding anything!" I madly said and marched out of our room.

"Shu!" he tried to stop me but I don't let him and just go without looking back at him.

Hours ago...

Haimon went home earlier today and because I was on my leave, I was left home for the whole day while he works. I stayed at home thinking and thinking until I get tired, and I don't want to think anymore and just trust my husband even though Kanik's words bug me.

"Love?" I finally heard Haimon's voice.

I take a deep breath before I answered. "Yes, Love!"

"You're in the kitchen?" he surprisingly asked and I can hear his footstep rushing through my direction.

"Yes, I'm here."

"And what are you doing here?"

"Oh, gosh!" I was surprised when I saw him at my side. "You scared me!"

"Sorry! But you scared me too."

"Wha?!" my eyes shrink.

"You. Being here and cooking?" he replied.

"And what's the problem of it?"

"You don't look well yesterday and that supposed to be you were still resting."

I sigh. "Alright! I'm fine, okay?" I said and smiled. "That is why I cook you your favorite foods and have a nice dinner with you, if that is fine with you?"

He was surprised and it took him long before he answered as he deeply sighs and smiles. "Alright," he said. "If you're really fine then, can I help you of anything?"

"Well, you need to change first before you help me." I said as I brightly smiled.
