When I First Met Haimon

Chapter Forty-Six:

"Lady Siara!" Wei immediately runs towards me.

"What now?" I asked as I put my hands through my hips. "I guess. I already knew."

"Oh, please my Lady. Just follow what your father told you to do." she said and there she goes again. She will stop me from going out again because that is what my father told her to do.

"And there you go again you know that you cannot stop me or even my father so step aside and let me go. Or maybe, it's better if you just go with me, after all, you'll also watch over me, so it's better if you just go with me. Alright?" I suddenly suggested and before she could answer I quickly hold her hand and pull her out of that place.

Downtown

I walk along with the humans on the street and since it is holiday, my clothes just became normal. I wear a black cape with a hood just to make sure my face won't show up, while I can freely scroll around the whole downtown.

"My Lady..." Wei calls me almost in a whisper. "We have to leave." She said that I take a deep breath.

"Wei, we've only been walking for three hours so can you just relax first and enjoy the night." I replied and I am waiting for the parade that will soon start and that is what I really want to see on this day around. The small parade that the humans do whenever the Halloween Month comes in and that is what I always wanted to see even though my father won't allow me to come out of the palace, I secretly went out just to watch this parade.

"But my La--"

"Stop!" I seriously stated. "If you want to leave, you leave alone and I could come back alone."

Wei suddenly stays quiet for a while and just let me do what I wanted and that is what I like. We endlessly walk around the market when suddenly I lost Wei when the crowd flooded. I quickly search for her the reason why I bump into someone and because I didn't expect it, I fall down into the ground in surprised.

"Hey! Watch where you are going!" a man furiously yelled at me even though it was me who fall down on the ground and it seems I am hurt when I feel my palm stings.

"I'm so--" I was about to say sorry when suddenly someone stand on my side and reach out a hand for me. I slowly look up to, whoever it is, and I was captivated when I saw this person's face.

"Are you alright?" he politely asked me.

"Hey! She hit us so why did you asked her if she's fine?!" the man that I bump in or the man that was with the woman I bump in furiously commented but the person that was standing in front me ignore him and waited for me to accept his hand.

I shyly accept it and he help me to stand up. "Th-thank you." I said almost a whisper.

"Hey!" the man suddenly bumps the shoulder of the person that helped me to stand up. "Are you ignoring us?!"

"You..." the person that helps you me finally speaks up and his voice flutters my heart. "As I see it, your woman looks fine to me. She was not injured because she did not fall. Unlike the woman she collided with, she fell and gets wounded."

"So, what do you want to say?! That I should pity her! Huh! She stupidly walks around without--"

"What did you just said?" the person that saves me suddenly became serious and when I look at him, I sense danger but because his facing his back at me I couldn't see his face but the man and the woman in front of us suddenly became scared. "You called her stupid when she was the one that was hurt after you push her before she bumps in to your woman?" he seriously stated.

What, did I hear it right?! He pushed me! Gosh! He is a real jerk! I wanted to shout out but then I cannot because somehow, I feel that the person that saves me, protects me instead and I am so thankful for him and only took him a second before the man that pushed me, backs off.

"Al-alright! We're quitting!" he said before pulling themselves out of that place then before I could say a word the person that saves me turned to face me.

"Are you alright now?"

"Ye-yes. I'm fine." I nervously replied.

"I'm glad!" he said as he smiles that took my breath away. "But we need to take care of your wound first." He suddenly said and before I could react, he immediately took me to a quiet place and guides me to a chair. "Sit down there and I'll take care of your wound."

"Ha! No! I mean, you don't have to." I nervously answered.

"No, I insist!" he replied. "Just let me."

I don't know but I cannot say no more and just let him do what he wanted. He went out for a while before coming back so quick with some medicine on his hands. He quickly takes care of my wound and for that moment, my heart already chooses the one. The man that my heart chooses to love for eternity!

Present...

"Mr. Haimon Del Gazini." She said my whole name that shocked me. "I'm Siara..." she paused. "Siara Meinir."

Her name didn't sound familiar but after hearing her full name, Meinir. That last name means a lot and I don't know what should I reply. It is more complicated after I heard her last name and what should I do now? I repeatedly asked myself before I return my gaze back to her.

"You..."

"What? Is it because I'm a child of the Manu Clan?"

"No!"

"Then, it's because I'm the child of the Manu Clan King, right?"
