Just friends?

-POV Aizawa-

I have been so busy with both my jobs, I haven't been able to catch up on sleep nor have I been able to catch up with Michelle. Seeing her under me awakened something in me once again. I messed up 12 years ago and I want to make things right between us. But what if she doesn't want to try again? I broke her heart so I wouldn't blame her if she doesn't want anything to do with me other than just being friends. I mean, we are friends right now, right?

"Do you think they're actually going to beat Volten?!" Hagakure shouted. Making me shoot my eyes wide open. The final exams got slightly extended. All the students had finished battling with the teachers until Bakugo pointed out that no one fought Volten. "How come none of us fought you?! You think you're too good for us, you old hag?! Even All Might fought me!" He yelled at her as all the students whispered. "Well they did say that the pros couldn't hold back, so I decided to sit down on this one. You know, so I wouldn't hurt your feelings." She stuck her tongue out causing him to fume up even more. "Ok fine, anyone who wants extra credit for my class is welcome to fight against me. No limit of how many of you want to fight. If you win, you'll automatically pass my class. Deal?" And that's how Bakugo, Mineta, Sero, Ahsido, and Kaminari are now in the stage room ready to fight Volten. The rest of the class were watching in the viewing room while I was trying to catch up on some sleep. "They keep trying to land attacks on Volten but they keep missing! It's like all they're doing is dodge but not fighting!" Well, there goes my nap.

I get out of my sleeping bag and I look over at the screen. The students are yelling at Volten wanting a fair fight. "Fine, I won't go easy on you guys.I'll give you a challenge." Volten raises their leg up and lifts up their legging revealing a weighted shin guard. They wrap it off and they do the exact same thing to their other leg. Everyone is in shock as they watch Volten dropping both the weights, causing a huge shake and a big hole on the floor. "H-how heavy are those weights?" Midoriya gulped. And in a blink, Volten disappeared from the screen without a trace. I heard a laugh next to me, "After all these years Volten still does that trick to scare people." Midnight laughs with Mic. "Remember how you joked that they should have weights around their legs so they wouldn't run away from you?" Mic elbowed me as he continued to laugh with Midnight. "Well remember that the only person they actually listen to is him." All the students immediately turned to face the three of us as if we just said something crazy.

"Wait..you all grew up together?" Uraraka asked. "Yeah we did! We were all so close but some were closer to our Volten." Mic eyebrows dance as he wraps his arm around my shoulder. I grunt as I push him away "Aww don't be so shy!" Midnight teases. The girls in the class scream in joy. "Our ship is actually canon you guys!" "Hold on. Mr.Aizawa, how come you were closer to Volten but not Mic and Midnight?" Todoroki asked cluelessly as always. "Oh well that's because he and Volten were-" "Don't you think that's enough?" I interrupted Midnight before she was able to tell my students my personal life. "How long have you been together?" "If it's been THAT many years, why aren't you both married?" "Why did Volten choose you? No offense of course." The students kept shooting their questions towards me. "Enough! All of you are done for the day. Volten already finished their fight anyway. Go change and head home." The students focus their attention back to the screen and see that Volten had already wrapped the students together with Sero's tape and Minetas stick ball. Making Volten the winner. "That was so fast! We didn't even get to see anything!" Midoriya whined.

One by one they walked out of the room disappointed that they missed the fight. "Uraraka wait. What made you and the rest of the girls think that Aizawa and Volten were together?" I grunted hearing Midnight ask that question, but I couldn't deny being curious as well. We don't flirt, hold hands or do anything risky...well at least in public. "Well..when they're both together, we noticed that Mr.Aizawa stands just slightly a bit closer to Volten and the same thing with them too. During lunch they always sit next to each other. But what made us start shipping them more was when we saw noticed Mr. Aizawa would only smile at Volten and no one else. It's like they both seem so calm and happy with each other, even if they're just talking about work. Also, we always thought they made a good looking couple." Midnight thanked her as she finally left the room. Leaving us three alone.
