Chapter 14: Breakdown

The trial room was silent yet again. "Crap." I sighed.

"Wait..." Ian muttered. "Rianna could've pushed the cart right? She was an accomplice..."

Seto nodded. "Yeah, that's probably right."

"So it wouldn't be Jerome then?" Brice asked.

"But who would the culprit be then?" Tyler asked. "If it isn't Jerome..."

"Maybe we should go over everything again?" Adam asked. "Then we may find something."

"Ok so they both died from head wounds." Quentin started.

"The weapons were iron ingots." Seto stated.

"Rianna was the accomplice." Brice continued. "And hid Simons body."

"I didn't murder them." Jerome smiled.

"The culprit must've fumbled somewhere." I sighed.

"Such a cunning plan... I doubt the culprit would make any mistakes." Adam pointed out.

We went to the emergency room and heard crying. I looked in and gasped. "Where's Ris body?!"

"W-well me and T-Tyler went to the w-washroom and when w-we came back R-Riannas body was g-gone!" Brice chocked out.

"Yeah." Tyler nodded.

"How the crap can a dead body just vanish?" Adam asked.

"Magic maybe?" Mitch asked.

Everyone turned to Seto. "It wasn't me!" He protested. "Most of my magics drained anyways! And a teleportation spell for a dead person? Sorry, that's a waste of time!"

Tyler sighed and a look of sorrow clouded his face. "Soon we will all be dead... Just like they were..."

My eyes widened. "We've been down here for a little while... Could Simons body be missing too?"

"Oh shit." Ian muttered.

"Wait, Simon died?" Brice gasped. "Tyler's right... We are g-gonna die l-l-like they d-did!"

"Tyler... Could you repeat what you said when Rianna left the emergency room?" I asked.

"I think I said, Soon we will all be dead... Just like they were..." Tyler replied. "Does that sound right?"

Some people gasped, while some widened their eyes. I looked up at Tyler. "Tyler, how did you know that multiple people were dead before we told you Simon was dead?"

Tyler stared at me. "You have a huge imagination Jason..."

"Oh, do I?" I asked. "And Tyler... Why are you talking so much during this trial? You're trying to turn most of the evidence into dust."

Tyler blinked a few times. "I don't understand."

Everyone was now staring at Tyler. "Tyler, you usually talk only once or twice during a trial... And you're the person talking most of the time in this trial." I pointed out.

"It seems like you're trying to turn me into the villain here." Tyler sighed then snapped. "YOU FRICKING IMBASOLE!!! YOU ARE VERY DAMN MISTAKEN!!!"

"T-Tyler?" Brice asked.

"RIANNA SAID IRON BEFORE SHE DIED!!!" Tyler screamed. "AND WE FOUND JEROME IN THE IRON GOLEM SUIT! SO THAT MEANS IT WOULD BE JEROME!!!"
