There was a thump. I shot up and looked around. "Oh... Just more trash..."

"Who you calling trash?" Jerome stuck his head out of the garbage.

"Jerome!" I smiled.

"Yeah, its me... Uhm... Help please?" He smiled sheepishly and put an arm out.

I grabbed it and pulled him out. "Thanks." He started to dust himself off.

"You missed a spot." I was holding in a laugh.

"Where?"

"Jerome, there's a fish bone on your head!" I laughed.

He grabbed it and tossed it. "Anyways-"

I cut him off by laughing like crazy. "Shut up!" Jerome yelled. "This is supposed to be a serious rescue!"

I stopped. "Rescue? Jerome have you forgotten about accusing me at the trial?!"

"No..." Jerome hung his head in shame. "I'm so sorry about that Jason... I... I had to pick someone or... Or..."

"Dammit Jerome..." I sighed. Then I walked up to him and flicked him in the forehead. Really hard. "You're an idiot! Don't just pick someone randomly! Thats stupid!"

"Well sorry!" Jerome shouted. "I was under a lot of pressure and you were the only person who made sense!"

I breathed in. "Fine. Jerome I forgive you... A bit."

"Awesome!" He smiled. "Sooo... You wanna get out of here?"

"Of course!"

"Well, look what I found!" Jerome held up a key. "It can open any door in the Trash Room or basement and the first, second and third floor!"

"Nice!" I smiled. "Lets go!"

"Jason, you kinda need some food or water right now..." Jerome sighed.

I shot up excitedly. "Really?! You have some?! Awesome!" I fist pumped the air.

Jerome laughed a bit. "Well yeah, you were kinda down here since the trial... Which was yesterday. So you must be hungry." He tossed me a bag.

I opened up the bag and paused. "Yesterday?" My eyes widened. "Damn." Then I opened up the bag and there was a water bottle and some crackers.

-TIME SKIP-

"So can you find a way out of here?" I asked and finished off the crackers.

"Yeah probably." Jerome replied. "I may be able to break the lock on the trash room door. I am a bacca after all."

"Ok, go try that then." I suggested and started to drink the water.

Jerome started to try and break the lock. Soon I heard a big whack and the handle fell off. "Ok!" Jerome exclaimed. "Lets get out of here!"

I nodded.

We looked up once we went through the door. "Wow..." I breathed. "Thats a long climb."

"Then its a better reason to go now." Jerome stated. "When we go up faster, we can start investigating who the Mastermind is."

We started to climb up.

-TIME SKIP-

"And I still can't see the top." Jerome sighed.

We were on a ledge having a break. "Still? Damn..." I sighed and drank some water.

Me and Jerome have been climbing for a while now. We thought we would be able to see the top by now but nope. No top. "What is...?" Jerome looked confused and he was squinting.

I walked over to where he was and looked up too. There was a whiteish grey figure. It was in the form of a person but you could only see his mouth and eyes. "Hello?" I called.

I heard a gasp and it disappeared. "What was that?" I asked.

"I have no idea." Jerome shook his head.

"Welp, we should get moving I guess." I pointed out.

"Ok, lets get moving then." Jerome nodded.

-TIME SKIP-

We were climbing. "I think I can see the top!" I exclaimed.

"Thank god." Jerome puffed.

"Hopefully I won't slip again!" I laughed.

I already slipped once and Jerome pointed out that if I fall, he won't be able to catch me so I ended up being really careful and slowed down a lot.  "You actually scared me though." Jerome replied.

I pushed open the trap door at the top and climbed out. Jerome came soon, and I helped him up. He was so tired. "Lets go find the others." Jerome puffed.

"You sure you don't need a break?" I asked.

"Ill be fine." Jerome nodded.

With that, we started to look for everyone else.

Welp, I got my iPad back sooner than expected

Stay weird,
