Chapter 23: Connect

Adam came out of the trial room last and Brice ran to his room. "I'm gonna go see Alterform. Hey Adam, you wanna come?" I asked.

"Sure!" Adam smiled. "We should ask Ian too thoug- oh... Yeah..." He then sighed.

I frowned a bit and nodded. "Yeah... Poor Ian... I'll go and see if Bash wants to come."

"Why can't everyone come?" Adam asked.

"I just don't trust hardly anyone..." I trailed off.

"Welp, you can't lose hope!" Adam smiled and then muttered something under his breath.

"Hey Adam, what was that you muttered?" I asked.

"Huh?" Adam raised an eyebrow. "I never muttered anything."

"Ok then..." I sighed. "God, I must be hallucinating..."

"Probably." Adam nodded. "Let's go get everyone."

We got everyone, but it was really hard to get Brice out of his room. We all went to where Alterform was and I clicked the power button. "Hello!" Alterform greeted.

"Alter, is there anymore info on anything?" Jerome asked.

Jerome started to get over Mitchs death and he broke down every once in a while. "No... Not much... I still don't know who the Mastermind is, but I do know that the Mastermind switched identities white someone else. I don't know who that is though." Alterform replied. "Oh! And I was wondering, is there any place that you can hook me up to something by any chance? A clock and an outlet would do well."

"We can look for something..." Bash muttered.

"Yeah! Anything that can get as out, we can look for!" Brice nodded.

"Thank you!" Alterform smiled. "Is that all you need?"

We all nodded. Alterform smiled again and the clock shut off. "So, split up?" Adam suggested.

"One group of four and one group of three this time." I nodded.

We all split up. Group one was, Me, Bash, Seto and Adam, and group two was, Brice, Jerome and Quentin. "So... We have to find an outlet and a clock with a plug in thingy close by?" Adam asked. "Piece of cake!" (omf Ian just died... Whyyyyyyy)

"Um... How can a clock have a plugin?" Seto asked.

"Yeah." Bash nodded.

"We'll find a way!" Adam smiled. "Onward!" (XD I swear a few of you read Okward)

There was a new floor so we went there. "A set of washrooms, a garden room, a lab... Nothing that important..." I muttered.

"There's a clock room!" Adam exclaimed.

We went in. "Nope... No outlets." Seto sighed.

"There's gotta be one in this place..." Bash muttered.

We went back. "Anything?" I asked.

"Nope." Jerome shook his head.

"Anything on the next floor?" Brice asked. "Ooh! What's on the next floor?"

"Um... A set of washrooms, a garden room, a lab and a clock room." Bash replied.

"Anything in the clock room besides... Er... Clocks?" Quentin asked.

"Nope." Seto shook his head. "Only clocks."

"Shit..." Jerome muttered.

-TIME SKIP-

I was in my room and heard a knock at my door. "Yes?"

"It's Jerome."

"Oh, hey Jerome. What's up?" I asked.

"I found something." Jerome replied.

I opened to door. "Then let's go."

We were walking to the second floor and went into the locker room. Jerome opened up Alters locker and he was already powered on. "Hia Master Jerome and Master Jason!" He smiled.

"Hey Alter... Ya ready?" Jerome asked.

Alterform nodded enthusiastically. "Ready for what?" I asked.

"For Alterform to connect!" Jerome squealed.

"Yep!" Alter exclaimed.

"You found somewhere?" I asked.

Jerome nodded and took out a bag. "We're putting him in here." He murmured. "And I found some power cords, so we'll put them in here too. Then we'll bring them to the clock room."

We did that. "Well, where do we set him up without being seen?" I asked quietly.

Jerome walked behind a clock and there was a trap door. "I found this a little while back." He whispered. "C'mon!"

We went through the trap door and there was a small clock and a power outlet in there. "Huh." I muttered. "How convenient."

"I know right!" Jerome exclaimed quietly.

He closed the trap door and took everything out of the bag. "Let's see... We got Alterform, power cords and all the other crap I shoved in here."

I laughed a bit. "How much 'other crap', did you shove in there?"

"A bit." Jerome replied.

"Uh, that looks like a lot." I chuckled.

"It's a bit." Jerome protested.

"Ok then." I shook my head and laughed a bit.

Alter came out of the alarm clock. "Set me up please!"

Jerome nodded and put the alarm clock between the outlet and clock. He connected the power cord to the outlet and alarm clock. Then he tied a long cord to the alarm clock and normal clock. "You connected?" He asked.

"Mm... I think so..." Alterform mumbled. "Let's check... Yep! We're all set!"

"Now we'll get everyone, including you Alter, out of this place!" I smiled.

"Really?!" Alter gasped. "Me too?!"

"Yep!" Jerome nodded.

"Yay!" Alterform cheered. "Well I'll find some way to get us out, you just wait and see!"

Since school started, no more update schedule! But I will try to update weekly!
