We stood at our podiums and saw two new signs, one of Ian and one of Adam. "Who is the killer behind the Singer? Welp, let's get this thing a-rollin', then!" Herobrine smiled.
"I think we should start off by listing the evidence." I suggested, looking around the room.
"Yeah, that's a start." Jerome nodded.
"Well, we know that he was most likely poisoned, and he was killed in the greenhouse." Quentin informed.
"Wait, is that all the information we collected?" Brice asked.
"Yep." Quentin nodded.
I paused. I thought we collected more... "You're wrong!" I shouted.
"Hm?" Quentin looked at me.
"Well, there also was a bag with crumbs in it, remember?" I replied.
"Right, that was there." Seto nodded.
"But how will that help?" Jerome asked. "We don't even know what the bag was for."
"Maybe it was to hold the poison so then no one would notice." Sukio, now Bash, suggested.
"That makes sense." Brice agreed.
"Then why was there crumbs?" Quentin asked.
"Maybe the culprit put the poison in food." Seto answered.
"And then got Adam to eat it!" Brice added.
"But how would Adam trust that person?" Bash asked. "If one of you came up to me and wanted me to eat it, I wouldn't eat it."
"Maybe it was somebody he trusted." Jerome replied.
"So it would be either Jerome or Jason then." Quentin sighed.
"I was never on the top floor before he was murdered, remember?" Jerome reminded.
"And, the blood wasn't fresh when I went to the top floor." I added.
"Oh yeah, it looked a bit dry." Seto nodded.
"Hm... Is there anymore hints of who the culprit would be?" Brice asked.
"Hey Jerome," I looked over at Jerome. "Did you smell anything other than poison?"
"Oh yeah, I did! It was put in a treat! It smelled so sweet!" Jerome smiled. "Hehe, that rhymes... Treat and sweet..."
"A treat..." I muttered.
"How does that help?" Bash asked.
I started to fiddle with my vote button. They didn't activate until Herobrine said we can vote, so we were safe. I looked down at it and saw a corner of paper under my button. I grabbed it and pulled it out. "Jason, what're you doing?" Quentin asked.
"Yeah, what are ya doing Jason?" Herobrine looked at me.
"There was paper underneath my vote button." I answered.
"Well, what does it say?" Jerome asked eagerly. "It might help us in out trial!"
"It says,
'Hey guys, so you're probably at my trial, if you're not then this is worthless. So anyways, I wanted to inform you that Ian helped kill me. You remember that bag he tossed at me? It was a poisonous cake. I asked him to make it before Mitch was murdered. I hated living here and I think that I'll never get out, I knew I would die eventually, but not in this way. Long story short, I committed suicide. Well, I'm sorry that I made you go through this, but I helped you reach the end a bit more, so I did help.
Have hope,
~Adam'." I read out."W-what?" Brice covered his face with his hands. "So... He..."
"Overrun by despair." Quentin sighed.
"Well, I guess that... It's time to vote! Ok, punks, go and vote for who who think murdered Adam!" Herobrine announced.
We all voted and the slot board appeared. Adam face appeared three times. "Yep! Adam killed himself everyone, and his accomplice, Ian helped him!" Herobrine laughed. "Now it's time for the punishment!"
"Punishment?" I echoed.
"What're you gonna do, punish his dead body?" Quentin asked.
"Nope! I've brought a guest!" Herobrine smiled and hit the button.
-Get Zapped!-
Alterform was sitting in the middle of the execution area. There were pipes with caps on them, sealing them up. Alter looked confused and looked at us. "Masters? What's going on?"
Alterform rose into the air on a platform. The caps came off of the pipe and water started pouring out of them. There was something in the water... Electric eels.
The water started to rise, and Alters platform started to lower. He noticed was was going on and started to scream. The water was electrified now and it was almost at the bottom of the alarm clock.
It hit the bottom and Alterform started to glitch out. He disappeared and the water engulfed the clock.
-END-
"Oh my god..." I covered my mouth with my hands. "Alter..."
"Well, that teaches him for trying to help you." Herobrine scoffed.
"You knew?" Quentin asked.
"Mhm." Herobrine nodded. "I found out a few days ago."
"How?" Jerome looked at him.
"I have my ways." Herobrine replied.
Brice was sobbing on the floor, again and Seto was beside him. Bash was shaking uncontrollably.
Another trial survived... But what will we do without Alterform?
