LIANNA'S POV:
Our classes were sitting on benches, enjoying a lunch break. We were shaded from a large, tent roof above us. People ordered ice cream and popsicles at the little store near the grass.
I couldn't keep my eyes off him. The sunlight made his skin and eyes sparkle gloriously. He ran a hand through his hair, as he spoke to his friend. But then, I saw Miya walk over towards him.
"Hey Felix." She said to him. Instantly, I felt jealous. I wouldn't want Felix to like Miya. But he might. Because Miya's tall, and she looks good in a swimsuit. (cough, bikini, cough) Her hair flowed over her shoulders. I saw her lean into his ear, and whisper something. Then Felix started blushing and giggling, saying "Haha! Nooo!" ...
FELIX'S POV:
Miya saw Lianna looking at us, so she leaned in and whispered, "I know you like her. You both look good together though." I started nervously giggling. Was it that obvious I liked her? Well, probably to Miya it was since I rejected her back in February.
Soon, the sky started turning dark, and clouds rolled in. But it wasn't nearly time for sunset. It was only 1 pm. Then, small raindrops sprinkled around. "Aw man! It's gonna rain!" People chattered. "We gotta get inside." People rushed to pack their things, and our classes headed back onto the school bus that took us here, and we sat down.
It was an hours drive back to the cabins from here. People anxiously watched as the rain got louder. Then, we heard rumbling. "Dude, there's gonna be a storm!" Someone said. "I bet there'll be lightning too."
A spark flashed from the sky. People clamored and watched from the windows. Their frightened voices all hushed once the rumbling got louder.
