FELIX'S POV:
Eventually, Lianna asked,
"Are you okay~?" Her soft voice caught me off guard, and I started blushing.
"I'm okay now that I'm with you." I responded. She let go of my hand, and got up from her bean bag. She approached close to me and, sat in my lap.
She wrapped her arms around me and closed her eyes. I took a deep breath in, and my heart beat fast.
"Lianna...I love you." I said.
"I love you too, Felix." She said.
We sat like that for, a while. Until the announcements came on...
"May everyone please head out to the field, as we celebrate the last day of our trip with a bonfire!"
It was sunset. It was pretty late though, 9 o'clock. I walked to the field, my arm wrapped around Lianna. Once we went outside, there was a huge fire pit, and like, a hundred folding chairs, lined in a circle. We took two, far away from Edison as we could.
Whenever the teachers spoke, they used a megaphone so everyone could hear.
"Hello people! Is everyone excited for high school?"
That question was met with a mix of groans, cheers, etc. I saw a table with hundreds of marshmallows and sticks, and some people roasted marshmallows. I didn't want to let go of Lianna, (and plus, roasted marshmallows are overrated compared to my girlfriend, anyway.)
The night went on, the teachers played music, people talked with their friends, and I held Lianna close in my arms. Hours passed, and I think she fell asleep again. I stared at the fire, hoping this moment would never end.
