FELIX'S POV:
The next morning after the competition yesterday. And the morning after the hilarious spin the bottle game. I was eating breakfast with my friends, we were talking about it. I think everyone who was at the game was talking about it, except Edison. Edison looked irritated.
"Good morning campers! Please listen up!" The announcements blared. Everyone's conversations hushed. "We will be announcing the results of the winners of the photo-taking competition!"
The whole room turned silent. People stopped eating, walking, anything. We were all listening in anticipation.
"In 3rd place, we have Christina, Rachel, Layla and Eva."
"In 2nd place we have Bethany, Edison, Richard and David."
"And for our first place...drumroll please!" Everyone started drumming on their tables.
"First place goes to Felix, Lianna and Connor! Congratulations to you all! And remember folks who didn't win, you tried your best! Woohoo!" The whole room burst in cheers and applause. Everyone was staring at us. I looked over at Connor, who was standing on top of his table and pumping his fist.
"To first, second and third place winners, please make your way to the stage." The announcements blared.
I walked up and met Lianna and Connor, up on stage. People hollered from the crowd. I also saw Bethany, Edison, Richard, David, Layla, Christina, Rachel and Eva. We were all winners.
The staff put our winning pictures up on the screen. And then, they handed out the prizes.
The third place winners each got brand new backpacks.
The second place winners each got 100 dollars worth of amusement park rides.
And me, Hamida and Connor got gaming consoles, (which probably cost about 5-600 dollars each.) We were also allowed to make one announcement. Me and Lianna decided to let Connor have it.
"Wassup dawgs!" Connor yelled into the mic. "WE'RE ALL WINNERS HERE! WOOOO!" He hollered.
This was just the morning of our last day of our camping trip.
