Emperor Zarkon looked at the halls of his ship, everything was doing fine, their plans were working until their prisoner Shiro tried to escape, they caught him, they brought Shiro to the throne room where Zarkon was at all the time "Zarkon, Shiro tried to escape again" a guard answered as they threw Shiro to the ground "don't worry my right hand man will get to play with him" Zarkon answered as the strongest member showed up.
"Go, have your fun" Zarkon answered, Shiro saw him flinching a bit when Zarkon touched his shoulder but Shiro shrugged it off, the right hand man saluted and took Shiro somewhere else.
While walking Shiro tried to reason with the right hand man "listen, you shouldn't be on this ship, you're a human just like me and my friends please let us go" Shiro begged, the right hand man just glared at Shiro "my name is Keith" Keith whispered but Shiro didn't hear him.
---- 8 months later ----
After Lance, Pidge, Keith and Hunk saved Shiro from the Galra Empire they were at the Castle of Lions on Arus, everyone was quiet, they didn't say a word "so" Lance said as he broke the silence in the room, everyone turned their attention to Lance "I found out something, someone named Zarkon has a puppet and he is looking for his puppet" Lance explained, Shiro sighed "we must find that puppet before Zarkon does" Pidge replied.
"You're right, Pidge" Hunk replied, Shiro nodded "Zarkon is bad news" Shiro mentioned, Keith was still silent "ok, Keith your silent again. What is going on?" Lance asked, everyone faced Keith "I... It's nothing, I'm fine" Keith replied.
Lance crossed his arms in annoyance "uh huh, sure" Lance replied, Keith sighed "I'm telling the truth!" Keith yelled as he stood up fiercely, everyone looked at Keith in confusion "really? You've been tensed for a while" Shiro answered.
Keith growled "I'm fine!" Keith yelled as he walked off and slammed the door behind him, Lance, Hunk and Pidge flinched at the outburst "bro, how are you so calm?" Hunk asked as they stared at Shiro.
"I knew Zarkon's puppet, he would always lie to Zarkon I told him it was bad to do that as he was taking a big risk, but he didn't listen and continued doing it but one day after an incident the puppet was no longer seen, Zarkon sent out soldiers to search for his puppet, but then you guys came helping me escape his empire but I knew his puppet was still out there... Somewhere" Shiro explained.
Lance placed a reassuring hand on Shiro's shoulder "I know how you feel, we'll find Zarkon's puppet before he does" Lance answered, Hunk nodded in agreement "yea, we won't let Zarkon win" Hunk replied, Pidge agreed "yea, Zarkon is bad and we must not let Zarkon get to his puppet" Pidge replied victoriously.
Shiro giggled a bit "alright, let's get the mission started" Shiro answered, Pidge, Lance and Hunk hugged Shiro as Shiro hugged back, he was proud of them but he was worried about Keith, he was acting strange everyday.
---- Zarkon's Empire ----
A wicked laugh was heard in the distance "bring him in" A voice crackled, the galra soldiers brought someone inside and threw him on the floor "puppet, I'm so disappointed in you" the voice replied.
The figure of the puppet walked down "please, Prince Lotor I'll do better I-" he was interrupted "that's not a good excuse!" Prince Lotor yelled as a knife was soon drawn closer to the puppet's neck "Matt" Prince Lotor said.
A whimper escaped Matt's lips, a smirk was seen on Prince Lotor's face, he chuckled wickedly "now, do as you're told and bring Keith to Zarkon, the team of Voltron will soon realize who Zarkon's puppet is" Prince Lotor commanded, Matt nodded "y-y-yes Prince Lotor" Matt replied.
Prince Lotor laughed wickedly as he gripped onto Matt's hand tightly "don't fail me, understand?" Prince Lotor asked as he stared at Matt "y-yes sir" Matt answered.
A smirk escaped Prince Lotor's lips "good boy, now do your mission or Sam gets it"
