LOOK, I DIDN'T WANT TO BE A HALF-GOD, and if I'm being honest, I don't think anyone wants to be.
Being a half-blood; half mortal and half god is dangerous. It's terrifying. Many half-bloods have died in the past due to their blood & scent, and more will follow down the line. My sister and brother being amongst them. However there have been some half-bloods who have escaped this life, by being the child of a minor Greek god and I envy them.
Those who figure out who their godly parent (and even those who don't) are chased by monsters once they sense that we know. For example, monsters were always on my trail when I was young a child, never letting up, following me on the orders of my uncle Hades.
Why are you asking?
Because I'm a forbidden child.
The only living child of the King of the Gods, Zeus.

My name is Rhea Grace.
I'm 11 years old. Ever since I was around 6 years old, I have been living at Camp Half-Blood, located on the north shore of Long Island, New York. Camp Half-Blood houses the children of the Gods, training them in order to survive on whatever comes after them.
I could start at any point in my short miserable life where the Fates had screwed me over. It all started when I was 2 years old, and my brother disappeared. It didn't take my sister long after many fights with our mother to leave the house at the age of 10 years old, and she took me with her, not wanting me to to somehow go 'missing' on our mothers watch.
I know--a 3 & 10 year old on the run? And being the children of Zeus, you could just imagine how fast we had to grow up. We weren't alone --soon after, we had met Luke who was 13 years old and a almost a year later, we met 7 year old Annabeth.
Thalia was a pre-teen when she died upon Half-Blood Hill. She had shoulder-length, curly brown hair, her eyes being dark brown. If you looked at Thalia and me standing side-by-side, you would have never guessed we were actually sisters. She took after our father's form from when she was conceived while I took after our mother.
I could remember a time, when it was just Luke, Thalia and me, camping in the woods and I was in her lap, just counting how many freckles she had on her nose. Her sense of style though, it made me think she was a child of our uncle Hades sometimes, dressing somewhere between goth and punk.
The only thing I have that she owned was her black leather jacket that was littered with buttons of bands that she used to force us to listen to. Even though it wasn't our style, we listened to them for her.I was grateful that my father had given me chance to grab her jacket before he turned her into a tree.

At the moment I was being dragged by Travis and Connor by my ankles even though I knew for a fact just one of them could drag me by themselves. I huffed, and I dug my fingers into the ground below me, gripping it tightly in order to hold myself but it was no use.
"You both better knock it off." I huffed in defeat, throwing my head onto the grass below me
Connor tried to ease my nerves. "Don't worry, Rhea. It's nothing too bad."
I glared at him before gathering an amount of dirt in my hand, throwing it at Connor but it backfired on me, the dirt ending up on my face, causing me to cough it up.
"Help, I'm dying." I managed to wheeze out, spitting the dirt out but the brothers shared a glance with one another before Travis took a hold of both ankles
