THERE WAS A DARKNESS LOOMING AROUND ME and as lightning crackled, flashing brightly to reveal a blurry figure coming towards me.

I couldn't see who or what the figure was and I tensed myself. As I lifted my hand to summon lightning, I noticed that a scar now laid on the palm of my hand, making me narrow my eyes it before lightning cracked once more to now reveal someone next to me. I slowly lifted my head to stare at the figure but I couldn't see them properly despite the fact that they now stood beside me.

"Who do you see?" The person asked me, and it was a young male by the sounds of it, their voice raised  over the storm

" "Brave the storm, that was made to break us for we are unbreakable as long as we have each other." " The person continued as he offered me his and I accepted it without a second thought before everything shifted around me

"They're you are."  A woman's voice echoed into my head making my eyes widen as they continued to speak, "We're not fools, Rhea Grace."

"It was only a matter of time before we found you." While her voice was soft, her tone was not and I looked around my surroundings and noticed that I was no longer with the boy from earlier

"Where is it, half-blood? Where is it?!" The woman snarled, her voice closer than ever in my head but still, she was just taunting me mentally but I couldn't see her physically

"Where's what?" I asked the voice but she didn't respond, however I sensed her behind me but before anything could happen, my surroundings shifted once more

"Who are you?" I asked the boy beside me as if I never left and to him, I probably didn't making me wonder what was happening

"The question is, who are you two?"  The looming figure ahead of us asked, but we couldn't see who it was, we could only see that the person was holding a lantern

"So weak. So scared. So angry. So sad." The figure said but he didn't come closer, "Run away,  little heroes, before you get hurt."

My eyes snapped open and it was like I couldn't breathe, I just laid planted on my bed still as a rock. My breath stuttered as I tried my best to regain control and it took a few seconds before I managed to calm myself. I slowly lifted my upper body to see where I was, and relaxed instantly or as much as you could with the statue of your father in the room.

"I'm okay." I whispered to myself, glancing up at the ceiling to see that that it was still nighttime and my eyes slowly trailed to the palm of my hand

There wasn't anything, the palm of my hand was bare, not baring a scar unlike my dream. Before  I could continue to dive on what was happening, a knock snapped me out of my thoughts. I slowly slid off my bed, and flinched at the contact my bare feet had with the coldness of the floor.

"Who is it?" My voice wavered slightly but I took a deep breath, reminding myself that a daughter of Zeus shouldn't be scared

"It's me, Luke." Luke's voice was soft and I immediately rushed to open the door, throwing myself onto him as soon as I could

"Woah, what's the matter Riri?" Luke surrounded himself to me, and hugged me back just as tight before releasing me but I didn't release him

"I just had a horrible dream." I confessed to him quietly and he slowly walked me back inside my cabin, closing the door behind him

"What did you see?" Luke asked me in a quiet tone as he turned on the lights, so we wouldn't be in the darkness anymore

"I didn't see anybody." I don't know why I lied to him, "I just heard voices--telling me that I was weak."

"You, Rhea Grace, are not weak. You are brave, braver than me." Luke did his best to sooth me as he guided me back to my bed, sitting down beside me onto of the blankets

"I don't think anyone is as brave as you." I told him with a slight laugh as I made my way to shift underneath my blankets

"I think you are." Luke told me as he caressed my hair, and I couldn't help but relax with him there to protect me and slowly closed my eyes

However before I could drift off completely, I heard a roar that made Luke and I tense up. He immediately grabbed Backbiter that was always at his side before rushing out of my cabin. I rushed after them after grabbing my weapon that I always had under my pillow in case of emergencies like this.

As I rushed out of the cabin, I could see more campers grabbing their respective weapons from the armory or from their cabins. I rushed towards where the growling and roaring, not caring for the fact I was barefoot. I ran faster than ever to see the Minotaur, half bull and half man, and a half giant in my opinion.

However what caught my attention was that it was staggering around the forest due to a human being on the monsters back, their legs tightening on its neck. I moved closer and lowered myself onto the floor, and planted my hand on the grass doing my best to summon the lightning in this weather. I watched as a trail of lightning shot through the grass and I directed it towards the Minotaur causing it to roar in agony.

That was all the boy needed apparently and he broke off a horn causing the Minotaur to snarl and I directed another lightning to the monster before raising myself off the dirt. I released a yell as I rushed towards them to help the boy out with my celestial bronze dual kindjals which were named Brontē and Astrapē. I would like to say that I took the credit of defeating the Minotaur but I didn't because before I could even plunge them into its stomach, it was already disengaging to ash.

I could only watch with wide eyes as the boy slowly fell to the ground, clutching the horn tightly  against his chest as he closed his eyes in defeat. In the matter of seconds, I was surrounded by the other campers, Luke and Annabeth rushing towards me, one at either side. I looked around him but with the people blocking my view, I couldn't see if he had a Satyr with him or if he was all alone.

"Rhea, what happened?"

"Is he okay?"

"Alone?"

"How is that possible?"

"Yeah.

"Yeah, he's okay."

"Rhea, did you kill it?"

"He couldn't have killed the monster."

"I didn't kill the monster." I stated firmly, my eyes still trained on the boy in shock at what happened but with my words, silence engulfed us

"He the one. He must be."

"Hush, Annabeth."

"He's waking. Everyone, give him some space, please." Chiron requested and we all did as told, backing off from the unconscious boy

"Welcome to camp, Percy Jackson. We've been expecting you."
