I grabbed Kennys sweater out the dryer.  It was clean, I held it up and just pictured him wearing it with his stupid smile. I giggled.

I heard a car pull into the driveway. I quickly went upstairs into my room. I put the sweater on my bed. My phone began to buzz. I opened my messages, it was Kenny.

Hi

Hiii

Wanna come over?

Maybe, I need to return your sweater anyways

Cool ill pick you up

Lol, in your dad's truck?

Nah he left with my mom, but i do have an umbrella

I do too lol
You don't need to walk all the way here just to walk me to your house

Mmm, I will

Okay just don't ring the doorbell

Got it, text you on like 10 mins

Okay :)

Time Skip
I slowly crept to the front door, clenching Kennys sweater.

"BYEEE ILL BE BACK LATER" I shouted quickly and shit the door behind me.

Kenny was waiting for me right there.

"Hi" He smiled.

"Hi" I smiled.

"We might want to get to walking" I said nervously.

"Sure" He said as he held the umbrella.

We began to walk.

"I got your sweater, it's all washed" I said awkwardly.

"Cool" He replied.

There was silence.

"I had one, exactly like that when I was a kid, I grew out of it so I was on the hunt to find one exactly like it" He said breaking the silence.

"Aw"

He chuckled.

"When I have kids, I want them to have one just like it" He smiled.

I smiled.

"Do you want kids when you're older?" He asked.

My smile started to fade.

"Sorry" He said softly.

"No it's okay, I do want kids" I sighed.

"Then what's wrong" He asked.

"They just...won't ever be MY kids" I said sadly.

"Oh" He spoke quietly.

"Yeah"

"There is always adoption" He suggested.
