Chapter 4 | Tweek and Craig

It's been 2 weeks now. I've been doing alright. Alex doesn't respond as fast as he used to but I get it, people get busy. I haven't talked to many people, but they know of me. Some greet me and some just look at me and whisper. I hate small towns, they always feel like you're an alien visiting from outerspace or something.

Today would be an even more awkward day for me. Wendy and Bebe are both absent, they are my only friends. They had texted me that they were both sick and couldn't go to school. This means I have to eat lunch alone. I don't hate it but it just makes me seem like a loner.

I went outside and sat down under a tree. I scrolled through the photos on my phone. I smiled and looked at them. They were all of my friends. To think that all of that is over now. My smile soon turned into a frown. My eyes were getting watery.

"A pretty girl like you shouldn't be crying" Kenny said as he sat down next to me.

I quickly wiped any tears from forming.

I softly chuckled.

"You say that to all the girls you see crying huh?"

"Yeah but when I told you, I actually ment it" (Kenny)

I playfully rolled my eyes at him.

"So why are you crying?" He asked.

"Just missing California" I said as I continued to swipe through my pictures.

A picture of me and Alex came up. My friend had taken it on my birthday. I was smiling at the camera and he was giving me a kiss on my cheek.

Kenny made a sour face.

"What?"

"Don't tell me that's your boyfriend" (Kenny)

"It is" I looked lovingly at the picture.

"You could do much better" He chuckled.

"He is all I need" I smiled.

"Hm, you really like him huh?" (Kenny)

"Yeah" I said as I opened my messages to message him again.

I was still on delivered.

I sighed.

"Why don't you try and have some fun instead of trapping yourself in the past?" He said as he grabbed my phone.

"What are you doing?"

He typed something.

"Text me when you're done mourning the past and want to live a little" He said as he handed me back my phone.

"See you later" He got up and left.

I looked down at my phone. He added his number on my phone. I chuckled.

Time Skip.  Chemistry class

"Psst" I heard someone said as I looked into the microscope.

I ignored it.

"PSST" They said again.

I ignored it again and began to write notes on my observation.

"Damn bitch you don't listen" He scoffed.

Craig grabbed his chair and sat next to me.

"Excuse me?"

"I said psst like 2 times" (Craig)

"I didn't think you were talking to me"

He gave me an emotionless face. As if he was annoyed with me.

"You're the girl from the store right?" (Craig)

"Yeah"

"And the one that was crying under the tree during lunch?" He added.

"You saw that?" I said embarrassed.

"Yeah"

I groaned.

"It was pretty sad to watch" (Craig)

I looked at him.

"Sorry" He laughed.

"What do you want?"I said as I looked through the microscope again.

"My boyfriend wanted me to invite you to hangout" He sighed.

I looked over at him. Tweek...

"Oh"

"If you wanted to, I could totally just tell him you said no" He said as he started texting on his phone.

"No, I'll hang out with you guys"

"Alright, meet us at the gate after school" He stood up and grabbed his chair to go back to his desk.

He walked back to me.

"Before I go, can I copy your notes" (Craig)

"Sure" I sighed.

"Cool" He took a picture of my notes and left.

Time Skip

"Theres no way you won again" Craig said in disbelief.

I giggled.

"S-she's good" Tweek laughed.

"A little too good, did you stick the rest of the cards up your ass or something" He rose his eyebrow.

"CRAIG" Tweek smacked Craig's arm.

"What? There is no way she can win five times in a row" (Craig)

"You don't say that to a girl though" Tweek scoffed.

"That's it, we aren"t playing uno anymore" Craig sighed.

Tweek and I laughed. Craig gathered all the cards and was fixing them.

"So what do you t-think of South Park so far" Tweek asked.

"It's pretty boring" I awkwardly chuckled.

"Hell yeah it is" Craig put the cards away.

"There's a few spots where you can have fun with the right p-people but other than that it's really boring" (Tweek)

"There's a carnival that comes every now and then" Craig added.

"It's just hard to adjust" I sighed.

"Yeah, this is definitely not like California" (Craig)

"Craig" Tweek whispered.

"I mean, it takes time to actually gather good friends and have a good time h-here" (Tweek)

My phone buzzed. I quickly checked it. It was Alex. I smiled. He had sent me back a selfie.

"Aww"

I showed Tweek.

"Who's that?" (Tweek)

"My boyfriend, we send each other selfies"

Tweek looked at Craig.

"What? Why send selfies when we hang out nearly all the time" (Craig)

Tweek chuckled.

I quickly opened my camera and took a selfie. I sent it to him.

"That's nice" (Tweek)

"Yeah, we've been lagging on the replies a bit but that's just because he's busy" I sighed.

Craig made a look.

"Busy with what?"

"School"

"Hmmm" (Craig)

"Why don't we make some c-cupcakes" Tweek got up.

"Ooo" I stood up.

Craig stood up.

"Not you Craig, last time you almost burnt my house down. But you can watch" Tweek awkwardly laughed.

"Fine by me, I still get to eat them" He shrugged.

I smiled. This isn't so bad.
