I got out of bed and quickly got dressed.

I grabbed my hair brush and stood in front of my mirror. I began to brush my hair.

I looked at myself. I felt uneasy. I took a deep breath and walked out my house.

I sat down in my chair. Kyle scooted closer to me.

"Hey" He smiled.

"Hi" I replied.

"You should come with us to the skatepark" He said as his phone vibrated, causing the desk to shake.

"Um, sure, afterschool?"

"Pfft no, we are ditching" Kyle laughed.

"Ditching?"

"Yeah, after this period" Kyle picked up his phone.

I looked at my desk.

Ditch? I don't ditch, I'm a good kid. I have to be a good kid.

I clenched my fists.

Sometimes you just need to live a little.

"Okay" I smiled.

"Great" He smiled.

The bell rang.

I quickly gathered my stuff.

"Alright lets go, Stan and Kenny will meet us at the park" Kyle said as he put his phone away.

We walked out the classroom and into the hall.

It felt like I was about to commit a crime.

"Kyle maybe I shouldn't.."

We reached the exit. He pushed open the door and held it open for me.

"Come on" He motioned.

It was bright outside. The final bell rang, passing period was coming to an end.

"Marjorine, we have to hurry, security is going to do a sweep soon" Kyle urged.

I took a deep breath and walked out.

The world didn't explode or anything. It was very anti climactic.

"Wow, that's surprising easy" I chuckled.

"Yeah, they really don't care" Kyle shrugged.

We began to walk to the park.

"So, this place sucks huh?" (Kyle)

I giggled.

"Yeah, I really miss my boyfriend" I sighed.

"He cute?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah" I smiled.

I showed him my lockscreen.

He smiled.

He showed me his.

It was a selfie with Stan and Kenny.

"Cute"

"Your boyfriend can come on the holidays" Kyle suggested.

"Yeah, but I don't think his parents would let him, plus money is tight" I sighed.

"Mm" He said in agreement.

I unlocked my phone and looked at my messages. He had left me on read. I sighed and gripped my phone.
