I speedran cleaning myself up. I had a quick shower, brushed my hair, dressed up nicely and dashed out of the bathroom. Everyone else was still talking to each other. I jump into my shoes and run to the door.
Mutasim: Alright, bye guys! Love you!

I nod with a smile as I leave the room and sprint down towards Velvet's dorm. Checking the time, I pull my scroll out and see I've only got two minutes! I put my scroll away and use my Semblance to turn into a ball of black roses and boost myself forward at mach-5 speed. Before I knew it, I reached Velvet's dorm.
I raise a hand to knock on the door, but it opens and I see Velvet dressed up nicely.

Her cheeks flush red.
Velvet: Oh! Mutasim. Hi.
Mutasim: Hey Velvet. I was just about to remind you about our outing.
Velvet: Don't worry, I remember. You look nice.
Mutasim: Thanks. You look pretty good too.
Her ears lower slightly and she smiles sheepishly.
Velvet: Y-You really think so? I just put on the first thing I saw in my cupboard.
I nod and pat her head, making her smile with a little more confidence.
Mutasim: Of course. You ready to go now?
Velvet: Yeah.
With that said, she connected my arm with hers and we began to make our way out of Beacon. As we walk, I feel Velvet lean her head on my arm. My heart pounds at the close contact but I smile at it. She was too adorable.
Soon enough, the two of us found ourselves in Vale, wandering the streets.
Mutasim: So, is there anywhere in particular you wanna go?
Velvet: Not really. But you're new to Vale, right?
Mutasim: Yep.
Velvet: I know a good place for you to start then. It's nothing fancy and the prices are reasonable.
I nod and follow Velvet's lead. After a few minutes of walking, we enter a burger joint. Immediately, we're greeted by the owner.
Owner: Hi. Welcome to Bob's burgers. Table for two?
Velvet: Yes please.
Owner: Take a seat wherever you like.
With a nod, we turn to one of the tables close to the window. I sit opposite Velvet and smile at her as the owner hands us menus.
Owner: Let me know if there's anything I can do for you. Okay?
