Nothing to show but gratitude to sunset
It has been nothing but kind
It has shown nothing but love.
The sunset said its okay to feel sad, it's okay to feel lost and empty.
Like there's no God but in moments like these always keep in mind that YOU are loved.
The lord will never leave you even when you desire him too
he is good, he is patient, he is kind, he is king...he is not like us.
He sees you when no one else does, in rough times he is the light in that deep, deep rabbit hole.
And that's why he created me for you.
You've been nothing but blue, with your head lost in clouds.
But that's why I am here.
Beautiful and colorful for you, when all those trials and tribulations have made you cry.
I am here.
I am not God but I am your sunset.
Here to heal even if it feels like I burn.
I burn, I heal.
It may not make sense but I am here for you.
I love you.
But the lord above loves you more.
