HARRY POTTER STORY: Lions in snake den

Part 18

After the chaos which entailed after the first task Hadrian his sister and friends all went back to the common room to celebrate as well as see what the next task would be seeing as the egg itself was a clue to decipher what it's going to be.

As soon as they entered the common room a huge round of applause was directed to the fourth year Slytherin Champion he looked at behind him and saw Draco and Theo smirking from the first years to seven years mostly everyone was applauding their champions achievement in the first task, Hadrian proceeded to thank everyone who applauded his achievement my shaking their hand one of the older Slytherins told Hadrian to open the egg he looked around the common room and saw it filled which suspense and eagerness to know what was inside the golden egg.

Looking back to his prize he opened it counter clockwise heard a click slowly opened it and then 'SKREEEEEETCH!!!!' Everyone covered up their ears as quickly as possible Hadrian then closed the egg to stop the sound everyone was stunned not expecting that to happen but before people could leave and go to their rooms Blaise decided to lighten the mood just a bit "Why did that sound like Mrs.Norris getting dragged across rocks" the first years and some of the second years were smirking and giggling at the comment everyone else either rolled their eyes or where holding in a laugh.

A week has past since the first task and Hadrian has yet to figure out what the second task is going to be although he does have until the 24th of February to figure it out he was currently in Care of Magical creature with Hermione, Draco, Tracey and Blaise as well as a few other Slytherins and the Gryffindors the lesson was going smoothly seeing as Professor Hagrid now had an assistant to help out but if something is going smoothly something or someone has to ultimately ruin it "WHAT IS THAT?!!!" A screaming banshee cried out "Well Miss.Parkinson these are..." Hagrid was about to cut off and explained when he was cut off my a smug looking woman who looked as if she owned everything her skin was as white as fallen fresh snow "Yes Please do explain what those creatures are?" Hagrid as well as every student looked at the stranger and all shared the same expression 'Who the hell are you supposed to be' "ah sorry let me introduce myself my name is Rita Skeeter I'm here on behalf of the ministry of magic as well as the daily prophet I'm currently going around classes and writing articles about them Care for magical creatures was next on my list so here I am." Rita sweetly answered but many people could tell that was a farce and that she was hiding her true nature "So what are those creatures called?" "Blast-Ended Skrewts." "Really? Now I've never heard of these creatures before can you tell me where they're originated from?" Rita asked 'Probably bread them himself' Pansy whispered loud enough that only people around her could hear.

Rita was about to ask another question but turned around and spotted her prize Hadrian Potter "Ah Harry you're here, do you enjoy Care for magical creatures?" Hadrian taking a deep breath looked at the reporter and calmly spoke "Its Hadrian or Mr.Potter Miss.Skeeter and you should do good to remember it, I do enjoy magical creatures but as you have taken up Professor Hagrids precious time to teach us this lesson has now ended as such me my friends and sister need to get going now goodbye" before she could say anything else the group of five went on their way to transfiguration.

As everyone in Slytherin arrived to their transfiguration lesson they where surprised to see that all tables where to one side of the room whilst all chairs were next to each other in rows against the far wall "Right everyone sit down this is an important announcement" Professor McGonagall said as everyone entered the room as soon as everyone was sitting down both Hermione and Daphne put their hands up in air wanting an answer as to why they are sitting in a row with no desks in front of them, "Yes Miss Potter?" McGonagall asked her former Lionesses "Why are we all situated like this? Are we doing a special transfiguration lesson which requires this extra space?" McGonagall chuckled slightly as well as sneakily enough so that nobody noticed "No Miss Potter however that will be something that I will bring up to the headmaster take 5 points for Slytherin for giving us the staff such an excellent idea to further improve our magical teaching."
