HARRY POTTER STORY: Lions in snake den

Once the sorting of the first and fourth years were complete everyone from the loyalist Hufflepuffs, to the most cunning of the students in Slytherin not a single person anticipated that not one but two of the 'Golden Trio' would be sorted into a different house and to top it all off it was Gryffindors switching to be Slytherins.

No one dared to speak the atmosphere was so think one could cut it with a knife it wasn't until Professor Dumbledore cleared his throat that people then turned to him however it was still very few people like Ron and Ginny were simply just staring at the twins with what seemed to be a mixture of both hate and 'betrayal' others such as Pansy had a face of disgust thinking how could a 'Half-blood like Potter and a mudblood like Granger now be in Slytherin, all of a sudden dumbledor decided to use Sonorus to get EVERYONES attention "Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls I welcome you to back to Hogwarts and for are new first years I hope you have a wonderful time at your new school."  After saying this Dumbledor received a huge around of applause from the Gryffindors whilst the other three gave a small applaud.

"Now moving onto what will be happening this year first things first there will be no quidditch this year." "WHAT!!!!" Is what could be heard though out the great hall many where upset no outraged at this announcement the only ever time quidditch was never occurred was when Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black was in charge back in 1847-1925 but loudest came from a pair of twins sitting at the reckless Gryffindor table "That is right quidditch will no be happening this year because it was been determent that Hogwarts shall host the Tri-Wizard tournament" After hearing this many of the upper students where quite shocked the Tri-Wizard tournament had been banned for centuries so why would on earth are they bringing it back now practically all of the first years and a few of the second years where confused on what the big deal was about this tournament but after asking upper class men in their house then soon realised why.

"As we are hosting this tournament only certain students will be able to compete these being students that are ONLY seventeen or over, and as this is a tournament we will be joined by other schools one being Durmstrang and the other being Beauxbatons so I hope you all treat them with respect, finally I would like to introduce the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher Professor Moody now please enjoy your meal and eat u..." was all Dumbledor got to say before a single person decide to use a piece of cutlery and clash it against their chalice to make an announcement "Thank you Professor for explaining what will be happening this coming year" many students where weirded out and questioning why would Harry Potter decide to make an announcement people like Ron, Pansy, Seamus, Ernie and many other all thought that he just wanted some attention but how very wrong they where.

By using the same charm as Dumbledor used before that being the the Sonorus Harry decided to speak fully "Hello my name is Hadrian Orion Potter some but some of you may simply know me by Harry Potter" many people then stared to question with friends saying things like 'Has his name always been Hadrian?' 'With the name like Orion do you think he is related to the Blacks with them having names that correlate to the stars and the galaxy?' Once the whispering quieted down Harry decide to speak again "During todays sorting I was not the only Potter to be called out" looking towards Hermione he looked at her and nodded his head to say stand up once Hemione did stand up everyone got more confused everyone but one "The person you once known as Hermione Granger is no more" people gave a questioning look towards Harry as if he has gone mad but what he said next shocked everyone except for the select few who already knew but for Dumbledor it make him turn as pale as death itself.

"This person who is standing by my side is non other then Hermione Angelica Potter my sister." Harrys announcement was short but surprising and rather then continuing talking himself he left the floor open for his newly found sister so she could say a few words "Yes that's right the girl you once new as Hermione Jean Granger is no more I now stand tall as Hermione Angelica Potter sister to one Hadrian Orion Potter is non of you decided to believe us then don't however their will be a press release about this situation in the near future and how we came to this situation." Hermione said this all whilst acting and speaking as if she was a pure blooded witch some where amazed at how well she was doing it but for the people who didn't believe her and Harry they looked at her with disgust never the less this didn't effect her in any way shape or form.

"T...T...Thank you for that announcement Mr and Miss Potter" Dumbledor said looking pale as he did when Harry firsts started speaking after hearing that the sibling simply nodded to the Headmaster.

Once everything was said the great hall became quite all you could hear was cutlery slicing and what not most of the sounds where coming for a specific section on the Gryffindor table but that is all anyone could hear no one dared to speak not even whisper at they where afraid, afraid of what the two new members of fourth year Slytherin could hear people began thinking the likes of 'Is Potter the next dark lord and the other his most loyal servant' these thoughts where all originating from the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw table but on the Gryffindor table there was a single person who was thinking off all the treacherous things he should do to get back at the so called 'Twins' for one betraying him for the slimy snakes, two not telling HIM THEIR BEST FRIEND that they where now related Ronald Bilius Weasley was heaving with anger and resentment towards the pair, however on the other end of the spectrum you had George and Fred the pair of prankster twins they for one where happy for Harry and Hermione as they know that Harry has always longed for a family and even if he was now a Slytherin that doesn't change that they will always see him to a brother in everything but blood.

When it came to the students of Slytherin their where two different sides, side one was with the students that didn't believe anything that the 'so called TWINS' where sprouting all they thought was that they are spies curtesy of Dumbledor and Gryffindor not only that but they consisted of the upperclassmen and a few of the fourth years the other side was a different story as for a funny reason they seemed to believe everything that they both said not once did they ever look to the Headmaster or to the red head that they call friend and if they did it was either with disgust or with pure hate but then you had the Slytherins that joined Harry and Hermione in the train compartment on the journey to Hogwarts and they sided with them as they where the first to hear what they said in the first place.

The Professors weren't fairing to better either Professor Spout the Head of Hufflepuff was quite shocked not once did she think that Harry would be sorted into a different house she expected Hermione but for them both to go to Slytherin it was quite a shock then came Professor Flitwick he was feeling the same way Professor Sprout felt he felt that with Hermione mental state and they way she takes her studies she would be sorted into Ravenclaw how wrong he was, Professor McGonagall was silently looking down not only did she lose one of her lions but it was two and to top it all of it was her two of her favourite students Harry the son of James and Lilly and Hermione who was brilliant and everything she ever did never did she expect that both of them would be sorted and into Slytherin this was almost too much for her but with the new founding information that they are both the son and daughter of James and Lilly she made a decision that would effect her for the rest of her life no matter what house they are in I will protect them Professor Moody simply just had a blank expression it was if not a single person would be able to read him only a select few maybe able to do so; then came the final Professor, Snape the man was feeling conflicted yes James' son and now daughter where now in the house which he hated the most but on the other hand with the Potter boy looking so much like his father hate would still be their then again the Potter girl looked similar to the first friend he ever had but sadly thew away of something he should have never said he slowly closed his eyes and decided that tonight he will have a glass of fire whisky and come to decision.
