Chapter 8: Join SM or not?

Taeyeon's POV

Chanyeol brought us over to his place. it is really grand, the house was bought by Chanyeol and Dara with their hard earned money.

"Woah!! Thank god I'm finally adopted, I never knew such nice houses exist, I thought they could only be seen in fairy tales!!" Soojung exclaimed as she put her hand over her mouth.

As we entered the house, we saw Dara sitting on the sofa carrying the baby. I took a closer look at the baby and could see Dara and chanyeol's beauty blend in the baby's face. he is so handsome.

Soojung's POV

Hmmmm I'm really curious what is inside this beautiful house. is it like ours?

"Remember to greet Dara eonni when you enter" Baekhyun Appa reminded me.

After we entered the home, I assumed the pretty girl sitting on the sofa is chanyeol's wife so I greeted her like I was told, "hello Dara eonni, it's nice meeting you!" I said and bowed almost 90 degrees. that's how Jessica taught me manners when I see adults.

Speaking of jessica, we had a lot of fun today, we played hide and seek in the building (out of mr Kim's sight of course) with some of her friends. they are all really pretty and likeable too.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun made lunch for us. it's more delicious then I expected. nicer than Jessica's cooking for sure.

Before we ate, I said my prayers and told everyone to eat before I started eating too like how Jessica taught me. I miss her, she taught me many important things like helping me with studies since I'm really weak. I could not talk fluently before I was 6. But I'm really fast in doing maths, just like my sister.

"It's time to go, hope to see you soon" Baekhyun Appa said to Chanyeol just before we left.

Taeyeon's POV

"Baekhyun, so I was thinking, maybe I should make a new album soon because the last time I did was a year ago, it's time. "

"Yeah! That's great! Soojung what do you think?" Baekhyun replied

"Does eomma sing well? I want to sing with her too!!!" Soojung said excitedly.

Just then, I had the best idea ever. We should have a family album together since Baekhyun and I are great singers. For Soojung, we can slowly teach her and I'm sure she will be able to sing well.

"Soojung ah, can you sing for me?" I requested.

"Somewhereeee over the rainbowww~" Soojung sang a line and I thought it was amazing. Even though I only heard her once, I could tell she has true talent too.

Baekhyun's POV
Well, I have the urge to ask Soojung if she would like to join sment but it is really stressful there, and after my experience there, I don't think I would like her to join and neither does Taeyeon. But I feel that she has potential and talent and it should not be wasted.

"Taeyeon, are you okay with her joining sm? After seeing the new ceo, I don't think it's such a great idea..." I finally had the courage to ask.

"Well, it's really up to her, it won't be much of a problem if she is interested but we shall not force her and just let her decide" Taeyeon gave an answer which kind of surprised me. I expected her to be overprotective just like how she was towards her ex members.
"I would love to join! I can see my sister everyday!! Please please let me joinnnn!" Soojung exclaimed after listening to our conversation.

"Okay then, we will bring you there to audition tomorrow, but if you ever face any problems, always let us know and remember that whatever you do, we will always be there to support you" I said words of encouragement hoping that she would be successful like me but not have to go through those really tough times I did.
