♡| i don't know how else to sum it up, 'cause words ain't good enough

AUGUST 16TH, 2009 WAS THE DAY THAT it finally happened, two months into their relationship; it finally happened.

You would think they've been going at it like bunnies. Louis is nearly nineteen and they're officially dating- they practically live together at this point. But they haven't gone further than the occasional handy, or blowjob.

And it wasn't that they didn't want to or that they were nervous. Louis was still a virgin but he trusted Harry with his life. Harry just wanted to make things special, not rushed. Not them doing it because they've been waiting all this time and they were finally able to, but because they loved each other with everything they had.

Because the time was right and everything was perfect and there was nothing else in the world they would rather do.

The day started so normal.

Harry woke up for work, kissed Louis' forehead before leaving, and came home on his lunch break to a barely awake Louis, who was always making him something to eat before he had to go back.

Louis' hair was all fluffy and ruffled from sleep, and he looked so small in Harry's sweats.

"Hi pooks," Harry smiles, walking over to his small kitchen and placing a kiss on Louis' head, "what's on the menu for today?" Louis tried to make him something different every day.

"Mac and cheese," Louis yawns, turning around to embrace Harry, "felt kinda lazy today, sorry." he pouted, cheek resting on Harry's chest.

"Never apologize, Blue. I'm just grateful you're staying over and making me lunch." he hugged his boy back tightly, scratching up and down his back, taking in the moment.

It's so crazy to think there was a point when he thought he was never going to get this.

Within a few minutes the food was done, and the two lovebirds ate together before Harry had to go back to work. It's the same routine, he brushes his teeth and laughs as Louis clings on and tries to convince him to take the afternoon off. Harry kisses his forehead and assures him that he will be home before the younger one knows it.

And it's cute and simple, and Harry could not be more in love.

Harry came home to the cutest candle lit dinner he had ever seen. Louis had always tried to do cute things on Friday's since Harry had weekends off.

"Baby," he pouts as soon as he walks in, immediately going over to kiss Louis briefly, "you're so fucking cute."

Louis blushed briefly before serving their plates and popping the champagne he had to beg his mom to buy for them.

Harry is in awe. He has loved Louis for basically all his life, but every day he feels like he's falling deeper and deeper. It's such an intense feeling- he could never put it into words.

Dinner goes on the way it always goes. What Louis loves the most is that it never feels mundane- every night feels new, even if they're always doing the same thing.
