♡| a fifteen year old louis was excited as the school year was about to end for both he and harry, and they planned to spend the whole summer together.

-
MAY 30TH, 2006. HARRY IS MAKING HIS WAY HOME to spend two and a half months with his boy, who ends the school year in just five days.

Harry smiles as he turns down Louis' street; he hasn't seen his boy in a month due to all his exams. His windows are down, and the wind is blowing in his hair as he slows down to pull into Louis' drive way. He turns his car off, props his sunglasses his head, then pulls a small stuffed animal from the passenger seat, before making his way to Louis' door.

" 'arry!" Louis smiled brightly.

"Baby," Harry says, dropping the stuffed animal before picking his boy up and spining him around before carefully placing him back on the ground, "got'cha a little gift."

"Bubbie!" Louis giggled before taking the small teddy bear, "It's so cute."

"Not as cute as you, baby." he kissed Louis' forehead.

The smaller boy just hugged Harry, who hugged him back just as tight.

"I've missed you so much, H." Louis mumbled into his chest, voice muffled.

"I've missed you more, baby." Harry responds as he dips his head to kiss the boy's hair, and runs his fingers through it.

"You're getting too old," he mumbles into Harry's chest, "can you just stay nineteen until I turn eighteen?"

"Unfortunately things don't work that way, baby," he pouts, "wanna come over to mine for a bit?"

Louis gives no verbal answer, just a small nod of his head that was barely there, but Louis squeezed Harry's twice which had become his little way of saying yes when he didn't feel like speaking up, or wasn't exactly comfortable in someway.

And when he saw the boy adjust his sweats, Harry knew Louis wasn't exactly comfortable in the moment.

But he grabbed an overnight bag, and made his way back to Harry, who wrapped an arm around him and kissed his forehead before bidding Jay goodbye, and walking to his car.

"Hungry baby?" Harry asked, pulling out of the driveway.

"Want nuggets." Louis mumbled, sighing contently when Harry placed a hand on his thigh once the boy began driving.

"McDonald's or Wendy's?" Louis held up two fingers, signaling he chose the second option, and Harry smiled.

He loved this - he loved it whenever he could talk to Louis without using actual words; more esentially, he loved how close he and Louis were, and seemingly always would be. He also loved it because it when Louis started speaking with body movement it meant Louis was getting little and well, it wasn't all that hard for Harry to admit that he loved taking care of his little Lou.

Harry pulled up to the Wendy's and ordered their food, smiling when he felt Louis holding his hand, running his (much smaller) thumb across Harry's. He thanked Harry for the food once recieving it, and immeditaly started to eat the Frosty (ice cream) Harry bought for him; Harry proceeded to fond at the boy's eagerness, telling him to eat slow, so he didn't end up with an upset tummy as a result from eating too fast.

Louis had finished his nuggets by the time they reached Harry's house so Harry threw the bag out for them before going into the house. Louis smiled and waved at Anne, who was heading off to work, and proceeded to make his way to Harry's room.

Harry walks into his room to find his boy on his bed, he fonds at him as he sees Louis is already discarding the clothes he's got on, and his putting on shorts and one of Harry's shirts.
