Akshita's pov
Smiling at my reflection dressed in a yellow suit perfect for today's birthday dinner.
Today you can't escape Mr Aditya.
Strolling towards the garden, my eyes flickere around the embellished garden and everything looked impeccable.
It was my plan to arrange a birthday dinner consisting my family and in-laws.
Ishan informed me about Aditya's arrival and sure they must be coming soon.
"Yayy birthday boy is here" I hug my brother.
"You look damn handsome" His lips form a smirk at my compliment.
"You look okay-ish too" He tsk to earn a slap on his chest from me.
"Aksh your inlaws are here" Niharika says running towards us.
On a cue my in-laws enter with in a minutes. My eyes fix on my husband who is looking everywhere but me. He is looking hot in white shirt and the shirt is perfectly hugging his toned body. Breaking the chain of my thoughts, to my surprise Ishan hugs Advik bhai first.
"Happy birthday bhaiya" Ishan greets passing him a gift.
Aww my sunshine boy.
"Thank you bete !!" Ishan face scrunch on my brother's word.
"Happy birthday Advik" Aditya shares a brotherly hug with my brother.
"Wow garden looks so aesthetic. I am sure it's done by bhabhi" Ishan praises with pride.
"Oh hello I have also helped her too" Niharika chimes in.
"Akshita beta andar toh aane do unhe. Ladte hi rahoge kya ?" Mummy glares at us.
(Let them in. Will you keep fighting ?)
"Decoration is really beautiful Akshita and Niharika beta" Ma comments.
"Let's cut the cake"
Advik bhaiya blows the candles and slice the cake while we sing birthday song for him. He feeds the first bite to our parents then me. After that I distribute the cake among us.
"Now it's time for your birthday gift" Advik bhaiya frowns in confusion.
"You already gave me best gift Akshu. I am going to be mamu and this birthday dinner. That's enough for me" He wound his arm around me placing a kiss on my forehead.
"Gift toh banta hai" I signal Niharika and she shakes her head. She comes back with the gift in her hand.
"This is your gift" I carefully pass the thing to my brother whose eyes sparkle.
