“will you please shut up for once?” a woman looked at her son with a annoyed face

“but mom—”

“look Taehyung your brother is on his way to home so you better shut up and help me and please don't spoil my mood!” Mrs. Kim walked away in frustration

Taehyung nod his head, the tears in his eyes dwell up but he quickly wipe his eyes and smile painfully

This is nothing new for Taehyung, his mother is always like this cold, harsh and unsupportive towards him.

Taehyung look at the piece of Paper in his left hand.

“kim Taehyung got the first place in painting competition” is printed there

He was very happy but now his happiness has disappeared somewhere. But what can he do? he has no option but to hide his feelings. But this is what he has been doing for years. Hiding his feelings, his pain and his sufferings.

Earlier he thought that his mother was doing all this just for his welfare, after all, which mother does not love her child? But now he knows, he knows the fact that no one cares about him not even his own mother.

He has a mother but not her love.

“are you still here? go take a bath” Mrs. Kim said while raising her eyebrows and holding a bowl in her hands

“can I help you?” Taehyung ask politely

Mrs. Kim sit on the chair “what? No! You will mess up this instead of helping me. Afterall We all know you're good at messing things”

Mrs. Kim laughed carelessly without giving a glance to Taehyung while his heart break into pieces after hearing his mother's words.

No! It's not true, his mother is joking right? She doesn't mean it. That's what Taehyung thinks every time his mother humiliates him

“why are you still standing here?”

Taehyung come back in reality from his thoughts and nods his head at his mother and walks away to his room.

He lay down on the bed tired, this is his life, go to school, come back from there and then stay at home. It's not like he doesn't have a friend, in fact he has a best friend but the thing is his best friend, Jimin has to look after his dad shop after the school

He was lying on the bed when someone threw a small stone at his window. He quickly got up from the bed and Jake picked up the stone which was covered in a paper.

Taehyung looked out the window but there was no one. He unwrapped the paper hurriedly.

“hoii :)”

He was confused as to who was the person who threw the stone in his room. He was about to look down when his mother called him.

“TAEHYUNG!!”

“coming” He quickly placed his certificate on the table and ran down. “what happened mom!?”

“ he is our new neighbor, Mr. Jeon Jungkook”

There was a pillar between them due to which they could not see each other. But then Taehyung stepped forward with a very confused face.

Jungkook is standing there with a lovely smile on his face. His hair was perfectly set and he is wearing a yellow sweatshirt and a blue baggy jeans.

“hii Taehyung” he greeted taehyung with his soft voice
He extended his hand for a handshake But Taehyung's eyes were only on Jungkook's face. His mother shook him lightly while smiling awkwardly at Jungkook who is waiting for Taehyung to extend his hand

Taehyung came out of his imaginary world
“hel— hello Mr. Jeon” he quickly extended his hand for a handshake feeling embarrassed.

Jungkook smiled at him softly

“im sorry for his behaviour! He is like this. I hope you don't mind him” Mrs. Kim said, glaring at Taehyung

“oh, no no it's fine, he must be tired” Jungkook laughed while shaking his head

“You haven't changed your dress yet?” Mrs. Kim aksed Taehyung. “How many times do I have to tell you to be responsible?”

Taehyung parted his lips to say something.

“mrs. Kim can I ask you something?” Jungkook quickly asked Mrs. Kim as he can sense where the things were going

“yes ?”

“Can Taehyung show me around this place? You know that I shifted today itself”

“Why not? And anyway, what use does he have? He just keeps lying here and there” she laughed again after humaliating his son infront of a stranger.

Jungkook doesn't feel right about this. How can she do this to her own son? But he stayed quiet as he is just a stranger for them nothing else

“can you Taehyung?” he asked Taehyung

Taehyung nodded his head “yes mr. Jeon, let me change my clothes” he said and left from there.
