Taehyung set the roses on the dining table while humming a sweet melody, the apartment is filled with happiness and peace as they always wanted

Jungkook who was showering in the other room came outside with a towel wrapped on his abdomen, his hair is wet

“I love seeing you smiling like this, I hope you smile more often” he commented

Taehyung smiled “of course I'm so happy, our friends are coming and we will meet them after so long”

“as much as I dont like you smiling at other things rather than me, I won't stop you because seeing you smiling makes my day and I'm not like those creepy and psycho boyfriends who killed anyone if their lovers looked at them with soft gaze”

Taehyung burst into laughter “what??I'm oh my god this is so hilarious, where did you hear these types of things?”

“Nayeon likes to read a lot no not like, she's obsessed with these types of shits”

“who is she?” Taehyung asked still smiling
“My colleague” he replied “i will invite her someday, I'm damn sure you will like her”
Tae nodded his head

“by the way what are you making for dinner? I will help you baby” Jungkook said “i don't have any idea right now you tell me, what should I make?”

“something light because they will be exhausted” Jungkook said as a matter of fact

“yeah i thought of asking Vernon to join us but as you know he's busy with his work”. Tae pouted

“you guys seem pretty close” Jungkook said while wearing a shirt “are you jealous?” tae asked

“why would i baby? I know you're only mine, I'm not jealous at all” Jungkook smiled and kissed taehyung's forehead

“thankyou for trusting me Jungkook” Taehyung whispered "I trust you with all my life tae, you don't need to thank me at all”

At night in new york:

Mingyu and Jimin sat on the sofa as Jungkook brought their luggage in the living room, they just landed a few hours ago. The stains of the happy tears were on their face, a group reunion after a long time. This is the first time Jimin and Tae lived so far from each other

It doesn't matter how many times you face time someone, being in front of them I real life is so different

“man I'm swamped” Mingyu huffed

Taehyung gave him a glass of water, “you guys take rest for sometime then go and freshen up, I'll reheat the food” he said and sat next to his best friend

“i miss you a lot, i thought I'm never gonna see you again” Jimin said

“pabo, you can take a flight and come to me anytime new york is not that far away from korea” in reality it is. But tae doesn't want them to feel gloomy after all they met each other after a long time

Jungkook sat next to Mingyu “im happy that you too came here to meet us”

“i miss you man, look at them. How they're greetings each other” Mingyu clinged onto Jungkook

“we are not kids”

“HEY!” both tae and Jimin looked at him offended “so you mean we are kids?” tae glared at him. As much as he wants to look offended, he's none other than a tiny cub in Jungkook's eyes

“Sorry” he showed them his bunny teeths

Later, the dining table was filled with laughter as they recalled their previous memories. How Jimin used to nagged tae at school and how Mingyu used to sulk whenever his boss gave him some extra work.

Surrounded by good people is so difficult at this time but having a friends like Mingyu and Jimin is a blessing. Tae asked jimin about Joshua too (how could he forget him)

"Joshua is doing well, he's going to be the next football captain in our school and he miss you guys so much, try calling him sometimes” Jimin sip his juice

“he is still playing football? I thought I —”

“it was a mistake Jungkook, forget it alredy” tae cut Jungkook's sentence, he knows what Jungkook was going to say

"He's lucky that you were fine”
