There was a strange peace in the Kim Mansion, but perhaps there was no peace in the Kim Mansion but in Taehyung's heart.
His brother is about to reach home. Mrs. Kim is cooking: And Taehyung? He sat in a corner: And thinking about someone, maybe about Jungkook?
It was such a small sentence to eat and take care of him, but it was no small thing for Taehyung. This is the first time that something like this has happened to him. His mother never asked him lovingly for food, but Jungkook, the first time he met, talked to Taehyung so lovingly.
Taehyung came out of his thoughts just as he heard the doorbell. Mrs. Kim quickly finished all her work and reached the door. Taehyung's brother finally arrived.
“my Jin” Mrs. Kim's eyes dwell up with tears as she saw her son after a long time. She caressed his cheeks with both of her hands and smiled brightly at him. “how— are you?”
Seokjin's eyes widened after seeing the tears in his mother's eyes “Mom why are you crying?”
“i missed you so much”
“stop crying, I'm here” he said and hugged his mother. He lifted his head and saw Taehyung standing behind her mother, smiling at him.
“Taehyung, how are you?” he asked Taehyung as he let go of his mother. He pulled Taehyung in a warming hug.
“Im good hyung, what about you?”
“yeah I'm good! I missed you”
“i missed you too!!” Taehyung smiled softly at him.
Mrs. Kim came forward and pulled Seokjin by his shoulder “Go freshen up and then come down and eat, you must be tired” she said and turned her head to Taehyung “help your brother”
Taehyung and Seokjin nodded their head and walked upstairs.
Taehyung sat on his bed whil Seokjin is taking off his coat. “,What did you bring for me?” he asked
Seokjin laughed seeing his brother's excitement, he opened his bag and pull a box. Taehyung is no longer patient.
“don't tell mom about this okay?” Seokjin said
Taehyung quickly opened the box, his eyes were shocked to see a new phone in front of him. “OH MY GOD! HYUNG —” Seokjin quickly put his hand over Taehyung's mouth so that his mom couldn't hear.
“don't shout otherwise mom will hear us and you know what will happen next” He warned Taehyung.
“thankyou thankyou so much I love you hyung, you're the best” Taehyung whispered while Jumping in happiness.
“Just make sure mom doesn't find out”
Taehyung nodded his head.
“lets go downstairs I'm hungry” Seokjin said as he pulled Taehyung by his hand.
Everyone at the dinner table was talking, mostly Jin and his mother. Taehyung always used to eat silently like this, but today it was different. Taehyung's mom tried to humiliate him many times but Jin kept changing the topic.
After having dinner, they all went to their rooms to sleep, Jin to his own room.
But Taehyung had lost his sleep, because he got a new phone for the first time. How much better could this day be for him?First Jungkook and now a brand new phone.
Taehyung was sitting on his bed looking at the fund when suddenly someone flashed a flash in his face. He saw that the flashlight was coming from his window.
Taehyung got up and went to the window and he saw Jungkook shining a flashlight at him from his window.
“Jungkook?”
“heyyy! What are you doing” Jungkook asked.
“i got my new phone—” Taehyung paused mid-sentence after realizing what he was saying. Jin had forbidden him to tell anyone but out of excitement he told this to Jungkook.
“congratulations Taehyung”
“umm don't tell my mother about this” Taehyung plead.
“so, it's a secret? Don't worry I won't tell your mother about this” Jungkook smiled showing off his bunny teeths.
“my brother Jin bought this for me” Taehyung told Jungkook.
“he loves you a lot”
Taehyung just nodded his head. He is so grateful for having a brother like Seokjin.
“by the way, why did you call me?” Taehyung asked Jungkook was a little hesitant to tell him. Taehyung peeked into Jungkook's house, he saw his stuff packed.
“How will you manage all this alone? Me and Jimmy will help you tomorrow”
“no no it's okay I'll manage—”
“Jungkook, we are friends and friends help each other”.
A smile appeared on Jungkook's face. “I called you to ask, will you come with me to buy groceries tomorrow?”
“yesss! I know a shop and they also give discounts”
“okay, let's meet tomorrow then and yes, is it okay to come to my house with Jimin”
Taehyung nodded his head “we will come”
“Thank you so much” Jungkook wanted to stop Taehyuj, wanted to talk a little more but what could he say to stop him?
“good night Jungkook” Taehyung smiled at him.
“yeah good night take care”
Taehyung smiled for the last time towards Jungkook and walked back inside in his room. Jungkook stood there, placing his hand on his heart and sighing. And then he also came back to his room.
