Holy shit... those blue eyes are just so... captivating.

"Y/n, pick up the pace!" Bobbi ordered, bouncing on her feet in front of me.

I snapped back to reality.

"S-sorry," I stuttered, aiming a punch at her.

She dodged easily and grabbed my arm. As she pulled me towards her, I brought my arm around her neck and pulled her head down. She grunted and grabbed my waist, forcing me to the ground. I managed to stay on my knees as she pushed me down.

"Really?" Bobbi asked, letting go of me.

"Sorry, I'm just not in the mood," I muttered, getting to my feet.

Bobbi looked at me.

"You haven't been right for weeks. Snap out of it, please."

"I tried I just haven't been right. I just seem to have forgotten how to fight or something."

What the fuck? That sounded so stupid. Bobbi just laughed awkwardly.

"It's fine, just- Just remember how to fight by tomorrow, yeah?" she replied.

"Y-yeah sure."

Bobbi left the room and I breathed out in relief. Being around her was so hard, but what I would give to be around her anyway. I struggled to know what I felt, but I was thinking maybe... what I felt for Bobbi was love?

"Morning," Lance greeted as he appeared in the door of my bedroom.

"Morning," I replied, sorting out some papers on my desk.

"Sooo what's happening up there?" my brother asked, walking over and tapping me on my head.

I shook my head roughly. I hated the feeling of being tapped on the head and he knew this.

"Nothing," I replied. "Why?"

"Because it's 2pm."

"And?"

"Usually you're incredibly aware of the time. Only when something's bothering you you forget."

I bit my lip and turned away from him.

"What's wrong?" Lance asked.

"Nothing, like I've just said."

"Y'know, I think you like somebody," Lance chuckled.

"What?" I spun around anxiously.

"Oh you do!" Lance cried, grinning. "I knew you'd react like that if you did like somebody."

I looked at my feet, going red.

"Who's the lucky guy?" Lance asked. "Or girl, depending."

"I can't tell you," I replied.

"Why not?"

"Because if I told you-"

"As long as it's not Bobbi I don't mind."

I stared at him for a moment. Well, that's that plan screwed.

"It's not Bobbi."

"Who is it?"

I did the only thing I could do in that moment and spluttered out a blatant lie, "Daisy."

Lance laughed.

"You do you sis," he told me, patting me on the shoulder before leaving.

I glared after him. Sometimes my brother was so annoying I just wanted to take him in the Quinjet to its maximum altitude and throw him out of the window. I only just realised what I'd said. I'd just told my brother I had a crush on someone I really didn't have a crush. I needed to tell Daisy what I'd just done - just in case.
