63. Being pregnant - Reacts

The character telling the Avengers she's pregnant.

Tony

"Hey Tony..." you approached him nervously.

"Yeah?" he replied, putting his cup under the coffee machine.

"I think- No, I know that-"

You fidgeted with your fingers anxiously, avoiding eye contact.

"Y/n, what's wrong?" Tony asked, a concerned look coming over his face. "You can tell me you know? As long as you haven't killed Capsicle or Miss About-to-kill-everybody, you're good."

His joke make you smile slightly.

"I'm pregnant," you whispered, looking back up at Tony.

You began to panic slightly as he just stared at you.

"I-I'm sorry, I-"

"Y/n, that's amazing," Tony finally said, a smile spreading over his face.

"R-really? You're not mad?"

"Why would I?" he asked, now grinning.

You smiled slightly, relieved that he was happy.

"I'll make sure your pregnancy is as easy as possible," Tony assured you with a pat on the shoulder.

Steve

You walked into the lounge to see Steve sat reading a book.

"What book you reading?" you asked, trying to start the difficult conversation you were about to have.

"The Hobbit," Steve replied, looking up at you.

He noticed your paled face and asked, "What's up?"

"Steve... I'm..."

The supersoldier watched you silently with wondering eyes. How do you tell him without making him freak out?

"I'm gonna have a baby..."

"What, you're gonna adopt?" Steve asked, looking at your pretty much flat belly.

"No..."

He was clearly taken aback.

"You're pregnant?"

You nodded, scared of his reaction.

"That's so good!" he got up and hugged you. "Tell me if you need anything okay?"

Bruce

Walking into the lab, you approached Bruce.

"I need to-" you began.

"Tell me you need an ultrasound?" Bruce cut you off with a smile.

"Huh?" you blinked. "How did you...?"

"Changes in behaviour, changes in diet. Your maternal instinct is showing," Bruce reeled off.

"Oh... I mean, at least I don't have to break the news to you," you laughed with a shrug.

He chuckled.

"You've still got the rest of the team," he pointed out.

"Hey, one less person to tell is still enough," you replied.

As you walked towards the door, Bruce called, "Y/n!"

You turned around to see a proud smile on his face.

"If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to come to me."

Thor

You were a little anxious to approach Thor. Not because you were scared of his reaction. Well, it was his reaction you were scared of. Not how he felt about it, because you knew he would be super happy for you. How much he would overreact. Still, you had to.
