"Heyyyy!"

The all-too familiar voice pulled me out of my thoughts as I spun around to see my best friend skipping into the lounge, a grin on her face.

"Wanda!" I greeted joyfully, lighting up inside as I gave her a hug.

The brunette laughed and wrapped her arms around me.

"Why are you acting like you haven't seen me for years?" she inquired when I pulled back.

I shrugged with a grin.

"I guess I just can't live without you, and I haven't seen you since..." I checked my watch. "Midday."

Wanda chuckled.

"True, true," she nodded. "You're literally my favourite person... like... ever."

I laughed.

"That's so fucking cheesy," I commented with a smirk, to which she playfully nudged me.

"I'm gonna go get changed anyway, I'm freezing in here," Wanda told me.

"Wait," I told her, taking my hoodie off. "You don't have to go get changed, I'm not cold."

That was such a lie, as soon as I took my hoodie off I got goosebumps. With a laugh, Wanda shook her head.

"I can see your arms, you're cold," she chuckled. "Keep your hoodie, I'll be back in a few minutes."

I nodded, slightly disheartened by her response, and watched as she left the lounge. Turning to sit back down, I caught the gaze of Natasha. She had a very prominent smirk on her lips.

"What's wrong?" I asked hesitantly.

With a chuckle and her signature side-smirk, she replied, "That fact that you two are very obviously in love with each other yet are being stubborn little kids by not telling each other."

"No!" I protested. "I don't like her like that!"

Natasha smirked.

"Yeah, I'll believe that when I see Clint parachuting from space," she nodded, before returning to her book.

"And I'm not doing that ever in my life," Clint added, a smirk on his face. "Not even to save Nat."

I rolled my eyes with a sigh.

"How do I tell her?" I asked.

Clint and Natasha shared a glance.

"Neither of us are exactly experts on love," Clint said. "Maybe go ask someone who is?"

"Who?" I inquired, trying to think of who to ask.

"Who is an absolute suck up to any woman who comes into his line of vision?" Natasha inquired.

"Ah, of course," I chuckled, standing up.

"You look gorgeous," Natasha commented as she helped me put my necklace on.

I chuckled nervously.

"Have I overdressed?" I asked anxiously, looking in the mirror at myself in a black dress, black heels, bracelets and my necklace.

"No," Nat chuckled. "You're going to a club, you've dressed right for the occasion."

I smiled at her through the mirror.

"A bit of advice," my red-head best friend started. "Don't force anything on her. I'm pretty sure she feels the same for you as you feel for her, but it'd be best if you let her initiate anything."
