1 month down the lane~

It was 2 AM. She was drowned in the files looking over proposals offered by other companies. Her mind was too focused to miss any flaw or error in any of the files. She was not thinking anything other than her work.

Alongside her, other few people were suffering as well, the private team of secretaries that work under her. While the CEO was spending her blood, sweat and tears working for the company, how can they dare to leave before her? Moreover, they don't want to risk this amazingly playing job, when during day one of the employees was fired for a mere mistake in a project. He added a zero extra making it 7 billion from 700 million.

Carrie called her for 8th time to ask her whereabouts but she just simply declined. After whatever happened, she had made up her mind to not get distracted by any relation precious to her and to divert her whole focus to grow the company with her skills, that her father built from scratch.

Her phone buzzed again, this time she passed it over to Soobin to let him answer. The call was disturbing everyone again and again.

Carrie- FOR GOD'S SAKE Y/N... IT'S BEEN 4 DAYS, SINCE YOU CAME BACK HOME!!! IT WAS ALL THAT JERK JIMIN'S FAULT!!! WHAT'S MY FAULT TO GET THIS COLD SHOULDER FROM YOU??

Soobin's eyes widenned hearing Carrie shouting like that. But he atleast got to know why his boss was suddenly on her devil mode since weeks. It has something to do with Park Jimin because of which they are all going through this hell!!

Soobin- Miss Kang is currently busy!! I would transfer your message to her if it's something important.

Carrie- won't she talk to me?

Due to Carrie's loud voice everyone heard but chose to pretend they didn't to not offend the devil in anyway and risk their job.

Y/n just rolled her eyes and took phone from him before going inside private bedroom.

Y/n- I hope it's something important for you to call me right now.

Carrie- Y/n, why are you not coming home??

She was calm now. She also know that people can only deal with this woman, calmly or they would just hit their head on a wall. She wouldn't bother to acknowledge them.

Y/n- let's talk about this tomorrow~
She sighed.

Carrie- fine, I'll come to your office first before going to my department in the morning.

Carrie- Now! Main thing, have you eaten yet??

Y/n- Yes
She lied! He stomach growled. She didn't ate anything since afternoon and that was also a professional lunch she had with clients.

Carrie- You are not lieing right??

Y/n- no!

Carrie- I'll come early let's have breakfast together tomorrow morning. You should sleep now!! Give your employees rest as well, they also have a family.

Y/n- They are willingly staying!

Carrie- because they respect you!! How can they leave when their boss is still working??

Y/n- So what?? I am paying them more than any company would. Moreover my personal team is most paid in the whole corporation.

Y/n- Pulling 2-3 all nighters is no big deal when we have an important project onboard and those elders to satisfy so that, they don't pull out their investment.
