When y/n's father died, Park family took her in and treated her like their own daughter. However she fall for someone who considers her as his sister....
"You are not even 18, while I am over 25.. I am old enough to adopt you"...
"Jungwoo, I want you to do something", she looked at him seriously after wiping away her tears. "Yess, your words are my command", he smiled.
"It wasn't a hit and run, it was an attempt to murder. Apparently I asked Soobin to look into it, but he couldn't find anything other than the number of car which could be seen in the camera set up on the gate of my house. When he tried to look for the car, he figured out it was a fake number plate since that number is already old and can't be used anymore. Since, you know Jimin oppa's connection in underworld, please get his help and find out more about this. You are the only one I can count on", she spoke desperately.
He nodded, "that goes without saying, Miss Kang. We are already looking into it. As soon as I get a confirm name, I'll call you. But right now there's something else you should be focusing on".
"What?", she frowned. "Apparently Chairman Park's health also took a toll because of shock, so he is not in a condition to tend to company's affairs. It would be better if you handle the company until boss recovers. Me and our team of secretaries will assist you well", this time he was desperate.
"Do you believe that I have the potential to handle a corporation as big as Park Peninsula? Shouldn't we hire a CEO instead??", she asked hesitantly.
"Don't undergrade yourself Miss kang. We are all well aware of your abilities. You are much more capable to handle a company as big as Peninsula, over Elixir Essence", he tried his best to encourage her and she finally agreed.
Time skipss to 2 days later Y/n was having a meeting with Chairman Park in his office. Jungwoo and a few other trusted people of Jimin were also inside the office. Mr. Park agreed to hand over the company's affairs to her for a while, however he will still be supporting her from the shadows.
"Miss. Kang, the thing you have asked about, is finally available with the help of boss's partner", Jungwoo spoke, after y/n and Mr. Park were done with their professional discussion.
"Already?", y/n stood up in shock. "Nothing is impossible for him to find out, his information channels are widely spread", Jungwoo explained. Mr. Park was confused as to what they were talking about.
"What is it about y/naahh?", Mr. Park asked. Y/n's expressions changed to a troubled one as she wasn't sure how he will take this information. "You tell Jungwoo", Mr. Park turned towards Jungwoo who looked at y/n with troubled expressions. She nodded with a sigh.
"Chairman Park, it wasn't an accident but an assassination. That person deliberately hit boss and ran away", Jungwoo delivered hoping this information won't affect his health like earlier.
Mr. Park took in the information well. He nodded and gulped his medicine with the water to calm down his nerves.
"We got someone to look into it and it turned out someone gave the huge ramson to get the boss killed", Jungwoo handed over the contract signed between the two parties involved in action.
"Who is this Han Jeongwan?", y/n frowned looking at the file. "Well Miss Kang", Jungwoo hesitated. "Speak", she glared at him.
"He is the right-hand man of your uncle Kim Jaehwan", Jungwoo looked down. Y/n's eyes widenned as she stood up in shock followed by Mr. Park who held his head in disbelief. "I knew he didn't liked me, but h-how can he think of harming... oppa", her eyes turned red.
"There's more to it", Jungwoo continued as they heard him patiently. "We captured Han Jeongwan and made him confess everything. Apparently, Kim Jaehwan has been approaching our investors to pull out from the resort project of, The Peninsula, using the boss's unavailability as an opportunity."
"This project is one of the most important deals he cracked this year and if by chance this was to be hampered, the company will have to suffer a huge blow and value of our stocks will decrease. At that time he plans to buy as much shares possible to get a powerful standing in the corporation", Jungwoo completed.
"That bastard!! I'LL KILL HIM", Mr. Park got so enraged, that his face turned red with anger while his breathing fastened. "Uncle you need to calm down please. You can't let your health suffer, at a time like this", y/n made him sit down on the chair and handed him another glass of water.
"You are right!", Mr. Park nodded. "Jungwoo arrange a meeting with the investors, we can't let any of our investor waver because of that bastard", Chairman Park orderred.
"Uncle, leave the investors to me. I want you to hold a meeting of board of directors and make sure they stay loyal to you. They are most important people, who must stay by our side", Y/n advised. Mr. Park thought for a while before agreeing.
The next 2 weeks passed by in convincing all the business associates to continue trusting them. Work was more hectic for y/n as she spent her days in maintaining the standing of 'The Peninsula' while doing overtime to manage 'Elixir Essence and co.' side by side. At night she used to visit Jimin, who was still unconscious. According to doctors the golden period of someone waking up from coma is 3 days, after that everything is uncertain, however they didn't loose hope.
---3 AM--- Jungwoo stopped the car infront of hospital. Y/n didn't realise since she was busy with the files. "Miss Kang we are here", he spoke gaining her attention. She looked up and nodded before closing the files.
"I have a favour to ask", she spoke turning her gaze towards him. He waited for her to speak further. "Is it possible for me to meet up with that person?", she asked. "I am not sure. Mr. Park wouldn't like you getting involved in all these things", Jungwoo tried to deny politely. "If he don't like it, than I want him to wake up and tell me himself. For now, please ask that person if I can meet him", she spoke. Jungwoo just sighed in defeat and nodded.
"Miss Kang", he stopped her as she was about to step out.
"How about I take you to home instead? You have been pulling all nighters since 3 days, you really need to sleep", he spoke worriedly. "It's alright", she chuckled. "By the way can I ask you something?", he nodded.
"When he handled my company, did he also go through such tough time, maintaining the standing of both companies??", she asked. Jungwoo nodded, "he almost developed insomnia". Y/n's eyes widenned. "Then don't ask me to take break either. I should do whatever I can to return the favour", she stepped out of car and made her way inside the hospital towards VVIP ward.
She sat on the chair beside his bed and held his hand before kissing his knuckles. "I'll take care of your company", she mumbled. "But you still need to wake up as soon as possible, or I'll make you regret going into coma", she mumbled closing her eyes and fell asleep with her head resting under his hand.

Ykw... please don't ever feel depressed regarding anything in life. The incident of today changed my whole perspective of life. All that matters is happiness and health. These competitive exams... rat race... nothing matters!!
My cousin spent over a crore in her mbbs and... just one accident of today... spoiled her life. And now looking at her loss... I feel like I never had anything to be depressed about.
Just cherish your body, your family, and maintain a peace of mind... everything comes after that
