It's been 5 days since they visited doctor. He is been giving her all of his attention even during the work hours. He randomly calls her to remind her of the medicines and checks up on her if she ate food. At this point even she was feeling a bit wierd about his behavior.

"Why is he suddenly being overly sensitive regarding my health?? I feel perfectly fine", she spoke.

"May be because he just loves you so much, that's why he is a bit anxious", a voice came from besides her as a result she flinched.

She looked beside her and found Soobin standing over their with a stack of files. "S-Since when are you standing here?", she took the files from him. "Since 10 minutes", he replied.

"I called you a few times, but you were too immersed in your thoughts, Miss Kang", he smiled awkwardly. "O-Oh", she nodded feeling a little embarassed for zoning out like that. He was about to leave but she stopped him.

"Umm, does guys really act like that often?? I mean calling numerous times a day to check up on their partners health?", she asked.

"Well Miss Kang... since I am always busy with the work given by you, I don't even have the time to eat food, calling my wife is next level. I don't even give her enough time at night just because I am always busy with files and clients", he replied with a fake smile clearly taunting her.

Y/n just kept staring at him with a smirk on her face looking at him talking so bravely.

"Well if there's nothing else, I'll go complete my pending work. If I didn't give my wife enough time tonight, she will go back to her parent's house", he said staring at her like a puppy begging for a treat. The treat for him is a break!!

She couldn't hold it in anymore, and let out a chuckle. "Fine!! I got your hint. I'll sign the application for your break", she shook her head at his daring nerve to taunt her like that.

"Thankyou so much Miss Kang. You are so generous", an imaginary tail wagged behind him like that of a happy puppy. "Yeah yeah", she mocked.

"By the way Miss, my wife is like that. Just like Mr. Park, she keeps texting me to have my meals on time", he replied her question with a cheeky smile. "Oohhh", y/n nodded thoughtfully. Just then her phone rang, it was Jimin. Soobin suppressed his smile looking at the callar id.

She looked at him while he just shrugged. "You can go now. Send these files to Vice president", she said handing him another stack of file. He nodded and left with a tired sigh.

"Lazy ass", she chuckled as he left and picked up the call.

Y/n- Yesss I am doing totally alright, I had my lunch, and taken my medicine as well. And no there's nothing wrong with my body.

She didn't even gave him a chance to speak first.

Jimin- Good girl *chuckle*

Jimin- I called for something else though.

Y/n- what is it?

Jimin- you know my aunt, who is a bit rude with you...

Y/n- hmm

Jimin- well... his son, I mean my cousin is getting married next week. Will you come with me as my date?

Y/n- she wouldn't like me there after whatever happened.
She bit her nails anxiously.

Jimin- it wasn't your fault, it was that girl's fault. Moreover you even made me take the charges back after aunty begged, she should be greatful. I still don't like that decision of yours.
