Chapter 2

Hannah Miller's POV

It's currently the day before I fly out to Dublin to attend Niall's concert and meet him for the first time, to say I am nervous is a complete understatement. Jade has been freaking out non stop since I told her I won and honestly, I don't blame her. I spent the whole day packing a suitcase ready for tomorrow, I of course had to book a holiday from work. In two days time, I'd be able to talk to Niall and hug him and I have no idea how I am supposed to survive that...

The Next Day

Our flight was quite a late flight but we arrived at the airport and Jade was dancing and running around the airport like she was a child. "Jade please calm down, everybody is looking at us like we are weird." 

"Hannah, how do you expect me to be calm when we are flying to Dublin to meet Niall?!" I laughed at her.

"I get it, but at least try until we get to the hotel please." Jade rolled her eyes at me.

"Fine I will try." 

After waiting for a while we finally boarded the plane, it was only a 1h 20min flight from London to Dublin, which wasn't bad at all. I had a little nap through the journey. All of a sudden I was jolted awake by someone aggressively shaking me. "Jade! What the hell are you doing?" 

"We've landed." Jade said smiling at me.

"You could have woken me up nicely." I responded.

"Where's the fun in that?" Jade laughed and we both got off the plane. We grabbed our bags from the airport and a taxi took us to our hotel room. Once we got to our rooms Jade immediately jumped onto the beds and started jumping up and down, screaming Niall songs.

"People would have no idea you are 28." I said laughing at her.

"Just cause I'm 28 doesn't mean I can't have fun, come join me." Jade replied. I played Niall's music from my phone and we spent the whole evening dancing around the room and singing until we were both exhausted.

"Isn't it crazy how we have been a fan of Niall since we were kids and now as adults we are finally gonna see him." I said to Jade as we were laying in bed thinking about tomorrow.

"It is, what if I pass out in front of him?" Jade asked looking very concerned.

"That would be very funny, I can't lie." Jade hit me and I laughed at her. After talking for a while longer, we both eventually fell asleep.

The Next Day

It's finally the day of the concert, we spent the morning going shopping for our concert outfits. I ended up buying a light blue cardigan with clouds on it, a blue jean skirt, matching cloud socks, cloud sunglasses and a light blue bow for my hair. We went to a very nice restaurant and then headed back to the hotel to get ready. "Jade hurry up we need to leave!" I shouted at her. Jade walked out of the bathroom dressed as if she was going to prom.

"Seriously? You do realize we are only going to a concert, not to prom?" I asked.

"Yeah but I'm gonna be meeting my future husband so I need to look my best!" I rolled my eyes at her.

"Like that would ever happen" I responded and she just glared at me.

We got a ride to the venue and I was so excited but I know the moment the concert ended and it was time to go backstage that I would be very nervous. Our tickets were seated in the lower tier but it was still a very good view. After an hour of waiting, the lights finally went down. It was the most amazing experience ever, all of a sudden the whole venue, including me and Jade of course, erupted into screams. Niall walked out onto stage...he looked so good. He was wearing a leather jacket and honestly I felt like passing out just seeing him wear that. He played most of the songs on his newest album The Show and songs from his last two albums. Of course he also played a One Direction song but being able to hear him play his own songs was an incredible feeling. Jade was going crazy the whole time and we were singing the lyrics to the top of our lungs and dancing like we were insane. Niall looked so happy up on stage, his smile lit up the whole venue and you could tell he was really enjoying himself.

The concert was finally coming to an end and that's when the nerves kicked in, I looked at Jade who was now shaking which made me laugh a bit. A security guard came over to us and asked us to follow him, he was taking us backstage to meet Niall James Horan. I felt like I couldn't physically walk because of how nervous I was but the excitement was also extremely high. He escorted us through the doors and down a hallway and that's when I saw him... Niall Horan standing in a room at the end of the corridor, he was laughing and talking to someone. My heart rate had never been so high in my whole life. I looked over at Jade and she looked pale, as if she was about to faint. "It's okay, we've got this, he is just a person.." I said trying to calm her down.

"Yeah a person who just so happens to be Niall Horan!" Jade said back. We got to the end of the corridor and Niall turned around and looked at us. My heart was now beating out of my chest but I knew I had to try play it cool. This was the moment I had been dreaming of since I was a young teenager, it was finally happening...
