Since we last saw our heroes, they have had a rough few days. Mikey had been feeling down about humans not accepting him and his siblings because they are giant talking turtles. He wished he could meet his TV idol, Chris Bradford, whom everyone else did not believe was as great as he seemed on his show.

Even so, April introduced Mikey to a socializing website, where he could friend his idol with no worries. Because on the internet, nobody knows what you really look like.

Mikey friended Bradford and was thrilled when he accepted; however, one thing led to another, and the two wound up meeting face-to-face. Surprisingly, Bradford didn't seem to care that Mikey was a mutant. The only thing was that Bradford really wasn't what he seemed, as it was later revealed that he was the top student of Master Splinter's worst enemy, the Shredder. He had only been using Mikey to find Splinter's location.

The turtles were able to take down both him and his companion, Xever, but Mikey felt rueful about believing the best in people. In a rare moment of sensitivity, Raph consoled his little brother, telling him he deserved way better friends. Feeling encouraged, Mikey unfriended Bradford as an act of revenge.

The only problem was that the events of this incident showed that Shredder was in New York and now knew about the turtles. This made Splinter wary.

Speaking of Splinter, the day started out normally for him. He was in the dojo, deep in his meditation, when he heard his children chattering from the next room.

"Guys, guys, get in your spots!" Mikey shouted.

"Alright, alright, Mikey! But this is the last time!"

"And don't clip me this time!"

"Why are we doing this anyway?!"

"Ugh, I ate too much cheese."

Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Sam were hunkered down on the floor in the line next to a skateboard ramp that seemed to have been put together rather haphazardly. Mikey was at the top of the ramp with his skateboard, preparing to do a ridiculous stunt. Somehow, his siblings got caught up in it.

"And now the kid goes for the world record!" Mikey announces to the room. "He will attempt to jump four mutant turtles!"

"I can't believe he talked us into this." Raph muttered, quite annoyed.

"Booyakasha!" Mikey shouted as he started down the ramp. This was going to be EPIC!

"What is going on in here?!"

"Sensei!"

Spoke too soon. Noticing their father had caught them red-handed, the four turtles on the floor stood up fast just as Mikey came down the ramp, resulting in a very painful turtle pile. They all groaned as Splinter stared them down with a disappointed scowl.

"How many times have I told you not to skateboard in the lair?" He asked rhetorically.

"None, father." Sam answered, groaning under her brothers' weight.

"I should not have to tell you!"

"You're right, Sensei." Leo agreed as they all stood up. "We... definitely should've known better... and we deserve to be punished." Sam slapped her hand over her blue-clad brother's mouth with an annoyed look. "Boy scout." She hissed, giving him the stink eye.

Splinter looked at his children with a certain Dad Look. The kind that you never want to see if you did something you shouldn't have. "And what do you think would be a fitting punishment?" He asked. Though it seemed like a fake question. Leo looked nervous for a moment.
