In the dead of night, Karai and a squad of Foot soldiers were jumping the rooftops, scanning the streets for their targets.

"The turtles have been spotted in this neighborhood. So stay alert for any sign of them!" Karai ordered.

Suddenly, they heard the sound of lasers and shouting from nearby. "Booyakasha!" It was definitely the turtles. Karai led the Foot Ninjas toward the disturbance and saw the turtles in an alley below, fighting some Kraang droids. "They're fighting robots?"

When one droid was wrecked by Leo, the Kraang brain inside popped out and skittered away. Karai could hardly believe her eyes.

Meanwhile, Leo caught sight of Karai watching them from the roof. He grinned a bit. He knew she was in the Foot Clan, but he still had a crush on her. He started jumping in front of his siblings to fight the droids for them, shouting that he was helping them (rather emphasized), trying to show off his skills while she watched. Raph knew something was up.

Once the droids were all beaten, Raph glanced at the roof and saw Karai leaving the scene. He knew it! He was cross now, but Donnie, Mikey, and Sam, who knew nothing about it, were confused.

"Uh, what the heck was that?" Donnie asked.

"Are you trying to impress us?" Mikey followed before hugging Leo. "Cause it totally worked."

Sam then noticed her red-clad brother's disapproving glare. "What is it, Raph?"

"I thought I saw something." He snarked. "What about you, Leo? Did you see something?"

"No." Leo said firmly. But Raph knew he did. "Turtles first, right?"

"Turtles first." Leo and Raph were staring each other down with equal looks of annoyance. Donnie, Sam, and Mikey were off to the side, completely in the dark. All they knew was that their older brothers were tense about something, likely involving Leo's weird behavior, and they had no idea why.

"You feel like we're missing something?" Donnie asked.

"All the time." Mikey answered gleefully.

"Leo did act weird just now." Sam commented. "Like Donnie weird." Her purple-clad brother growled at her statement, but he couldn't deny something was up. But what?

In Shredder's Lair, the top henchmen were in the throne room. Dogpound was watching as Baxter Stockman worked on a contraption that would help Xever walk on land, since he was now a fish. He figured out how to help him breathe, but the robotic legs were another problem.

"Aw, the mermaid's grown legs." Dogpound teased.

"Please, settle down!" Stockman hushed. He hated his work being criticized. "Xever, get ready to walk." He said confidently. However, the test went awry quickly when the robotic legs started running uncontrollably and slammed Xever into multiple walls. Baxter grimaced, but Dogpound was loving it.

"Fix this, or I will bite your head off!" Xever threatened. Stockman shut down the legs but was startled when he turned and saw Shredder standing there. He had seen the whole thing. "Baxter Stockman."

"Mister Shredder!" He shrieked. "Uh... how long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough to witness your failure. My patience is wearing thin."

"Yes, sir. It's just... the control mechanism is proving trickier than..."

"Enough!" Shredder ordered. "If he is not walking soon, you won't be either. I'll give you one more chance."
